Poor quality screws
I bought the Windemere towel hook and the screws were of such poor quality that the head stripped before they were fully installed. It was a nightmare trying to remove them so that a better quality screw could be used.

Terrible hardware
The hardware that this came with was terrible. The anchors and screws stripped very easily. The fastener did not tighten well onto the hook.

Easy installation, looks nice. Only con is that the finish is not 100% consistent - there's a permanent smudge on one edge but it isn't noticeable from afar.

how wide is the base?
Hi Kathy, Thank you for your question. The base on the model 70035-SS robe hook measures 2-3/16" in diameter.

Can this be used inside the shower for washclothes?
I am looking for a hook that is made similar to a towel bar to withstand water and not rust etc. and hold washclothes. Can this produnt go in the shower?

Can this be used as a towel rack?
Does this stick out far enough and is it heavy enough to be used to hang a towel on it after a shower? I do not have enough width for a towel bar.

How do you tighten a delta wind mere hook that has loosened

Our Delta Faucet Windemere® Robe Hook In Chrome MODEL#: 70035 can be tightened by using an Allen wrench to tighten the set screw located under the hook, please see page 2 of the installation guide in the link below.

Can I get replacement mounting plates? We moved and we forgot to grab the wall mounting plates.
