Allowing water to evaporate on the finished surface can lead to a build-up of mineral deposits. This can damage the finish over time. The clear topcoat on our organic finishes, including matte black and Venetian bronze, can be especially susceptible to damage from mineral deposits. We recommend always blot dry any water from the faucet surface. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. Hi Dbritt, thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! This model can be installed to wall studs, ceramic tile, sheetrock or even hollow doors. If you are installing the bracket to a wall stud, please ensure the screw is going into the wall stud.
