What is the minimum height that the medicine cabinet can be installed behind the Delta 767LF-BL to allow for the cabinet to be opened?

Very little water flow from the faucet

On Delta 767LFSS faucet can the lower section be removed so it is not as tall?

Am I able to reduce the height of this faucet by removing the base? You see how there is a line that goes all the way around the faucet and looks like the two parts could be separated? Is there a way for me to remove that base piece to make it shorter?
