What is a "rough"

Hi Manny, Thank you for your question! The rough in is the valve body that goes into the tub deck. It includes the internal parts. The rough in valve for your unit is the R2707. Best regards, Brandis

Hi, I purchased this faucet to replace a preexisting Koehler roman tub faucet and my husband and I cannot for the life of us, install it correctly.  We are having the most trouble with the spout.  please help! I love this faucet and want it to work!

Can this trim be used on an existing older Delta rough-in valve setup from a Garden / Classic tub filler (2705)?

Hello Victoria, Thank you for your inquiry! If your current tub spout has a set screw on the back side of the spout, then the Delta Trinsic Roman Tub Trim T2759 and any of our trim kits that start with a T27 will interchange for you. Best regards, Tanya
