The "HF" on the model number indicates that it is a high-flow shower only valve. High flow valves allow for more gallons per minute if you wish to use additional components such as a hand shower, body sprays, etc.

Our Delta Faucet Ashlyn® Roman Tub Trim In Chrome MODEL#: T2764 does not include a hand shower, however, the T4764 does include a hand shower. The diverter should just pull up and stay in place with the help of the water pressure, if the diverter won't stay in place, we would recommend a flush of the unit. To flush the diverter on the Delta Faucet Two Handle Flexible Mount with Hand Shower model R4707, you will remove the diverter as explained in the Maintenance and Installation Guide (M&I), which I have included a link and a downloadable PDF file below. You will find the instructions on page 3. You will want to follow Type A (Standard) based on the model that you have. Furthermore, you will want to use a large bowl or pot to place over the empty valve. Turn the water on with the cold handle and allow the water to run for 60 seconds. If your current roman tub spout's set screw is located in front of the spout you will need to install a new R2707 rough-in valve prior to installing this Ashlyn roman tub trim kit. If your set screw is located in the back of the spout and does not have a threaded bonnet then you will need to purchase a new R2707 rough-in valve. Hello Dennis, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T2764 Ashlyn® Roman Tub Trim In Chrome. I apologize for any difficulty finding this information. I know that can be frustrating. We are happy to help! Older Roman tub valves were adjustable for height. The top of the stem should be 1.75" from the finished surface. If the valve is not set high enough, the handle may scrape the handle base. Hi George, Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company! It is possible that flushing the ASHLYN® Roman Tub Trim MODEL#: T2764-SS could resolve this issue. To do this, turn off the water supplies, remove the cartridge, and turn the supplies back on for one minute. Please make sure that you are getting good flow through both the hot and cold sides while flushing. You can also shake the cartridge back and forth to make sure the back half of the cartridge rattles. This means that the pressure-balancing spool is moving freely, as it should.
