Install difficulties
Same issue as another reviewer. Plastic bracket for the under mount did not fit to slide up the threaded base. Had to use a Dremel to remove protruding plastic and widen the hole in the bracket.

Not happy about several features and wish I had seen it in operation prior to purchase. The spray cpmes out on two sides instead of in a circle as most sprayers do. Installing the faucet has somehow reduced the water pressure and it is very annoying.

QC issues
No instructions in the box (although this was available online) and the bracket for mounting had a ridge inside of it that required removing so that it would install correctly. I’m an engineer and have a lot of tools (used a Dremel tool to remove the bracket ridge); however feel sorry for someone without the tools or recognition to modify the bracket. My son in law installed one of these at his house about 3 months ago and had the same issue which is likely a result of the injection molding process. This represents poor quality control; however the rest of the faucet parts worked.

Works better and looks better!
The new kitchen faucet that I recently purchased not only was extremely easy to install but, work’s better and has more features and easier to swivel from one side of the sink to the other but also looks more solid with cleaner lines than the unit originally installed. Not just a replacement but definitely an upgrade.

Weird Split Spray Pattern
Well, the plumber just left after installing this faucet. I am not happy with the weird split spray pattern on the faucet, have never seen this before and have always used Delta faucets. What is the point of it? The main full stream is fine, the Shieldspray feature is awkward to use having to keep the button depressed in order to use it, and the worst of all is the shower spray feature split in the middle so there is no full spray. Nowhere is this shown, not on the packaging and not on the Delta site. Is this product returnable after use? Not happy at all with this and would have never purchased if known.

Wrong directions in box
So far, the faucet works great, but the directions that come in the sealed box have ZERO info about this type of faucet install. It was not hard to figure it out due to the fact I was uninstalling a different Delta faucet, but it would be nice to have the exact set of instructions for the job

Home Depot specs says that the Hyde is made from stainless steel, is that correct? And the Marca is made from metal. When it says metal, what metal?

I need to drill a hole in our granite countertop to center and install this faucet. The soap dispenser will use the old, off centered hole. What size bit should I use to accommodate the faucet?

How do i remove the aerator? I have the "Key" that came with it but the piece just seems to spin indefinitely

The HYDE™ Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet MODEL#: 19801Z-SPSD-DST aerator can be removed with the included wrench. Get the wrench into place and turn counter clockwise to remove.

On the Hyde is the hot up or forward? Is the handle position only up and forward? (My space will not allow for reverse position)

What size screw to tighten the faucet? Also how do you remove the little blue/red cover to insert a new screw?

This model uses the RP72998 screw which has a thread count of #8-32x.43. You can tighten it with a 1/8" Allen wrench.

The water comes out of the faucet very slow. Do you sell an aerator with a higher gpm. what is the part number. If you don't sell a higher gpm aerator, what is the aerator size/tread so I can buy an alternative

Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company about, 19801Z-SPSD-DST! Low flows are caused by a blockage or debris, we would recommend flushing the faucet. The flow rate can not be increased for a high flow rate.
