This one replaced a nice-looking cheap one that leaked at the 2-year mark and its spray/stream button failed at 1-year. I bought Delta because I was looking for quality and a good warranty. I’m liking the touch off and on while using. Without a dishwasher, it’s nice to touch to turn water off when scrubbing or stacking items in the dishdrainer. I find it a useful practical feature. I had to order online and wait for the pex/ to 1/2” valve fittings ($27). It was an exhausting job to install this. I wasn’t comfortable with looping the pex. Because my valves have compression fittings I was able to rotate them a little (with water off). Definitely needed a 2nd person to hold it upright during the Long time it took to screw on the nut while holding everything together up there behind the sink basin.

My only objection is that the pullout spout does not pull up tight magnetically as advertised. We have to force it back in place. The weight dies not hang straight under our sink due to an in place shelf. Paperwork didn’t mention this as a drawback.

It is so easy to keep it and the counter area clean and dry. The motion sensor tended to have water splashed on the counter when you turned it off. Just a personal issue.

Called delta warranty dept and they are sending out replacement parts on two separate issues where the parts were faulty.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Faucet, Easy Installation (with a catch) We purchased the Trask Touch2O faucet 3 weeks ago. My wife just had hand surgery, so is currently operating everything one-handed for another 6 weeks. We are both very happy with the ease of installation, which I did myself, and ease of use. Tap on tap off anywhere on the faucet is working well. We purchased the separate a/c adapter, and agree with other reviewers that this should be included, not a separate purchase. Helpful hint: open the faucet box after purchase and before leaving the store parking lot to ensure all the right parts are included. We had to return to the store to swap the solenoid, as the box included an older solenoid that didn’t match the newer faucet. That was the only hitch we encountered. That’s a Delta issue, not a store issue, which is why we are giving the faucet a 4-star review instead of 5.

I thought I found the leak but later realized it was happening at random times and coming from within the faucet housing. Took me forever to catch it in the act and diagnose the problem appropriately. Lowe’s will not return as it is past the 90 days and without a receipt. I expected much more from a faucet that is this expensive.

I don't know about the negative performance reviews, but it has performed flawlessly. So well, that the faucet in out laundry room looks identical, but manually operated, and I have to remind myself it isn't "touch" sensitive.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Magnetite feature rusts and then breaks Nice Faucet and enjoy the touch technology but after only 2 years, the MagnaTite feature has fully rusted/corroded and broken off and now sprayer will no longer stay connect to the faucet. Very frustrating for such an expensive product. Have generally been pleased with Delta products in the past.

Looks great on the granite top and goes so well with the rest of the kitchen. I would have given this a 5 star rating, but when you buy the top of the line faucet and they don't provide the $5 transformer, it lost a star. Touch feature takes a little while to get used to, but what a time saver.

With long spout base is plum but spout is a little off. With touch sensor wish water lever was a round knob to set temperature so it’s not used to turn off water which disables the touch sensor until water lever is in the on position.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Faucet is great but soap dispenser doesn't match! At first we bought the Trask commercial faucet which had a very nice soap dispenser. We liked it but was it much too tall for our kitchen. We returned it and bought this Trask faucet and the size was perfect (16" tall). We didn't take notice of the soap dispenser because we assumed it would be the same one. However, when we the soap dispenser is bulbous! Why would they put this dispenser with a sleek, contemporary faucet? The bases don't match, nor do the finishes. I'm very disappointed with this design decision.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from better than expected bought it about a month ago, and it worked flawlessly since the beginning. Installation was simple, just followed instructions. I like leaving the manual valve open all the time, and using the electric features, very nice!; one issue: no part numb er or comments about the power adapter for the electrical portion; I recommend using C size batteries. So far so good, I will keep posting if there is any issue with it! Last but not least, this unit is very expensive!!! I expect flawless operation for at leasr 5 years. We will see

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great I liked the look of this faucet and was torn between purchasing the standard or touch2O model. Opted for the touch. I was not sure I would really like or use the touch feature. I was wrong, I love it! It took a little getting used to but it is a great feature. If you do a lot of dishes by hand or even with food prep, it is very convenient. I tend to turn the faucet on and off more by touch than I would if I were using a handle. This helps to conserve water. By using the touch feature I also get less water on the faucet or counter as I can just tap the end of the faucet with the back of my hand or a dry wrist. In the long run it leads to less water clean up around the faucet and counter. It also reduces scale and deposits on the surfaces. I have cats and was concerned that they would be able to activate it but it requires a positive touch and skin contact to make the circuit. You set the handle to a preset temp and flow if desired and just tap anywhere, other than the pullout, to activate the faucet. If you firmly grab the handle to adjust the water while on it will not turn the water off. So you can adjust as necessary without turning it on or off. A light touch turns it on or off. There is a time out feature that automatically turns the water off after a set time. If you are doing a lot of dishes it will turn off. Just tap it to turn it back on. It is rare I leave it on long enough for this to occur. There is also a black plastic base under the touch2O version, that is the only visible distinction above the counter. This base houses a red light to indicate when the faucet control has been activated. You can have the handle to the off position yet the control turned on. Ultimately the handle position controls flow and temperature. The touch control box is a secondary valve that is strictly on or off and is indicated by the light. I have opted for using the AA battery power pack. It is supposed to last 2 years. You can also use C batteries if you want a longer change interval, the battery pack is designed to use either or. I have not used the ac adapter but should I change my mind I can use the outlet behind my dishwasher without adding a dedicated outlet. If for some reason you don’t like the touch feature, not sure why anyone wouldn’t, you can simply remove the inline control unit that is in the cabinet. You can now use it as a conventional faucet without the touch feature. After 6 months I have not had a single issue. Overall I am very happy with this faucet and would definitely recommend it. Hopefully this helps anyone reading this to make their decision.

Day one was great but since then I have gone through 12 batteries and I just purchased an AC adapter but now the faucet is turning on and off on it's own and flashing intermittently. Not too sure what to do.

What size is the soap dispenser, how many soap can I fill in?

Six weeks old now it periodically drips when you touch the faucet to turn it off while leaving the tap in the on position. This has happened several times now and the only way to stop the drip is to turn the tap off using the handle. How can i stop this?

Hi, Sanddrifter! Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a leak from your Delta faucet. Leaking from the faucet in the touch off mode comes from debris inside the solenoid. You may flush the solenoid by following these next steps. 1. Turn the water supply by putting your handle in the manual off position. 2. Disconnect the sprayer hose by removing the blue retaining clip. 3. Place a bucket under the male adapter coming out from the solenoid. 4. Run water into the bucket for 2-3 minutes. Debris located inside the solenoid should be flushed out after completing these steps. If this does not fix the issue, please contact our Delta Customer Service line at (800)345-3358. Are the soap dispensers refillable by opening the top or do you have to go under cabinet?

If the faucet is in spray mode, does it reset to stream when turned off and turned back on? If so which models will stay in spray mode even after turned off?

Thank you for your question, LCZ123! The flow pattern on all of our pull-down kitchen faucets is determined by which position the button on the wand is in, regardless if the water is running. If the button was left in spray mode after turning the faucet off, it will be in spray mode once the faucet is turned back on and vice versa. -Benjamin

Possible to disable Touch2O but not TempSense LED light?

Is it possible to disable the Touch2O sensor to allow manual faucet operation but keep the TempSense LED light working, so we can use it to gauge water temperature? I tried turning the faucet to 'on' and disconnecting the 3.5mm wire running to the solenoid, but that disabled the LED and not the touch. I can turn the faucet to 'on' and disconnect the battery pack to disable everything except manual operation, but I'd like to keep the LED light if possible.
