Love the high-arch faucet and retro 2 handle look!
Had purchased one in 2014 and had problem with faucet not turning properly. Made another purchase (5/2016) of same faucet, different model#. So far so good. Have contacted Delta to address 'lifetime warranty' on previous purchase and received prompt response to rectify what may be just a problem with that one manufacture item.

Handles are a bit wobbly - neck has play
I replaced a Moen facet that was 12 years old and considerably more heavy duty. The first thing I noticed after installation was the wobble turning on and off the faucet handles. Also turning the neck from side to side has more wobble/play than I would like to have. The base seems pretty light duty but maybe everything is that way today. I have your products in a two sink vanity and a single control shower unit. These I am very pleased with and your service has been greatly appreciated.

A fine looking faucet which works perfectly
The faucet was easy to install (it was missing the cap on the 'cold' water faucet handle, but I called and the replacement is on the way). It has a classic look and adds to the appearence of the kitchen, and it works perfectly.

Cheaply made and flimsy
Very disappointed in the quality of this faucet. The handles never seem like they are tight enough, they are flimsy and always feel loose. I don't see this faucet lasting very long. Made with plastic seats. I bought the stainless/nickel finish which was $30 more than the chrome one.

Delta Faucet
This faucet would be so much better if it were a little bit higher to accommodate deep pots and pans, when I do to rinse the water splashes on the back splash. The water flow is less than what I would like. This faucet works fine, but the height is my main concern. I spent a pretty penny for a faucet that did not meet all expectations,

Faucet clunks when turned on.
We replaced the aerator and it didn't resolve the issue. Apparently, we have too much water pressure but that didn't happen with the previous faucet.

Beware
Immediately had trouble with the aerator and the sprayer. Had to get new parts. The hot water handle keeps loosening and we have to tighten every so often. The whole unit feels flimsy. Moderately priced, but certainly not the cheapest. Would never have bought this if we had known. Very unhappy.

Delta stands by their warranty
My faucet was leaking and when I took the faucet apart to see where the leak was coming from, the spout broke. I called Delta and the customer service rep was AWESOME! She was VERY friendly and caring. She ordered me a new faucet and it was shipped the same day that I made the call. I recv'd the faucet the next day, just in time for Christmas Eve!

Love the product!
I love this faucet and it had been a long time coming! However, I was very disappointed to figure out that I had to pay a $20 price differential for the stainless steel finish vs. the chrome. Overall, extremely happy with it, found it easy to install and would definitely recommend!

I bought this faucet and my husband and I installed it with ease. And it does not leak! I like it much better than my old faucet. I did not have a sprayer on my old faucet and now I do not know how I lived without one.

EASY TO INSTALL
I REPLACED A MOEN WITH THIS UNIT BECAUSE IT IS VERY HARD FOR A DIY PERSON TO DEAL WITH THE SPECIAL TOOLS REQUIRED TO WORK ON A MOEN UNIT.
IT WAS VERY HARD TO REMOVE THEMOEN UNIT.
THE DELTA WENT IN VERY EASY AND IF NECESSARY WILL BE EASY TO WORK ON.

A good faucet
We purchased this faucet to replace a faucet we had for over 20 years. The installation was easy and the faucet performs as we expected. We like the longer neck and the double handle controls and hope this faucet lasts as long as the last one. I would recommend Delta.

Looks better than it feels
Just installed this faucet today to replace an old delta faucet that started to leak. Installation was your typical faucet install, fairly simple. Got it all hooked up and was admiring the polished chrome up until I went to turn it on......This product feels so flimsy as it has way too much play in the handles and spout. The tolerances on this faucet are not tight at all which make this a huge disappointment for me.

Rich appearance and versitility
I like that to shut off water flow, it is not necessary to tighten fully. The high "J" spout gives greater flexibility in its use. One limitation appears that the handle's stability could be and should have greater strength. In short, handles appear to loosen over time plus the upright stem that the handle is screwed into seem loose.

Not like the old Delta faucets
I replaced an old 1986 Delta two knob kitchen faucet with this new faucet. Looking at the new faucet before installing looked about the same quality as what I was replacing.
After the install I realized that the stem portion of each control valve along with the outlet of the spout was very wobbly. I tighten the outlet bezel around the spout to try an reduce the amount of wobble. To my surprise I started hearing a cracking sound coming from the chrome base. I surmise the base is about half the thickness as my old faucet.
As far as both control stems, if you push them sideways with one finger you can see them move significantly.
The faucet preforms otherwise as it should. My old faucet lasted 29 years. I suspect this new faucet will be lucky to last 8 or 9 years.
I realize it has a lifetime warranty. But the cost of the faucet is secondary compared to the actual labor of replacement.
My whole house has had Delta faucets as a first choice since 1982. This new faucet will make me look a little closer at other manufactures rather than just going automatically with Delta.

Great Looking!

My Husband Keeps Commenting on How Much He Likes This Faucet
My old faucet started leaking and spraying water all over the kitchen. It was not a Delta. My plumber told me to go buy something I liked since I was the one who was going to have to live with it.
I researched my alternatives online and found this Delta faucet. I liked the look and the price. I bought it and the plumber installed it yesterday.
My husband never comments on anything in the house and he has commented several times how much he likes the look of this faucet.
It looks nice. It doesn't leak or drip. When you turn it off, it's off.

We are pleased!
This faucet was easy to install and functions properly. The faucet we replaced was old and very hard to uninstall. We have a dual sink setup and being able to move the spout is wonderful. The instructions were well written and the packaging was nice too! We like being able to sign up for online support and warranty. We will buy Delta from now on. Well done!

can this faucet be installed without the sprayer

Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta Foundations Kitchen faucet 21988LF-OB can be installed without the side vegetable sprayer. However, you would need to purchase the RP60295, to cap off the nipple below the faucet.

Can I hook up a portable dishwasher to this faucet?
Thank you for your question, Suzi! You may connect a portable dishwasher to the spout using the right adapter. We do not make an adapter for this faucet, but the thread size of the spout is 55/64"-27 male.

Howdy, Are the spout, handles, & base of this faucet made of brass, or is the finish applied to a different base metal? I've read that the sprayer is plastic, but is the rest of the faucet all metal? Much obliged, Matt

The specs on model 21988lf faucet state 1/2" line from the wall to the facet. Does that get reduced before the water comes out the spout? I have a gravity feed water system with lower water pressure than typical city water systems.NEED 1/2"
Thank you for your question, john! Model 21988lf uses 1/2" IPS connections. There may be a slight reduction on the inlet nipple; however, this model is designed to produce 1.80 gpm @ 60 psi or 6.8 L/min @ 414 kPa. If you are not getting this flow rate, there will be a decreased flow regardless.
