RESEÑAS
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Did she really just do that? Installation was very easy. It looks beautiful. Runs great. And I especially like it for when your hands are dirty. You can just touch it so that you can rinse off your hands without getting the handle all dirty. One downfall is I have a cat. She tried helping me set it up and when it was all set up, she was able to turn it on. So my concern is would she turn it on during the day when I wasn’t home? Yes you can turn off this function. But when you need it. You want it on.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad durability of touch feature solenoid. I bought the touch activated faucet for my new kitchen sink as it seemed like quite an awesome product and concept. Unfortunately, the product's engineering is not good at all with regards to the solenoid that is used to open and close the water flow with the touch technology. I bought my faucet in very late June 2024. Installed in late August. It worked for two months and stopped working completely. Of course this was at 9:30 at night with a sink of dirty dishes. I replaced the two month old batteries with brand new batteries, and went through all of the trouble shooting videos on the Delta site. Alas, still no luck and and so I had to remove that portion of the faucet and make it a manual faucet. I contacted Delta Customer service and told them all that I did and they told me they wanted me to do some more troubleshooting and would send me the links to these. In addition they wanted me to take the solenoid filter off and solenoid partially apart to clean it. THE FAUCET IS ONLY TWO MONTHS OLD AND WAS INSTALLED BY A MASTER PLUMBER. What device should require this much maintenance? I went through all of the troubleshooting and cleaning the solenoid and still no joy. It makes a noise but doesn't open up flow of water. I called the customer service back and they wanted a copy of my purchase receipt. They also wanted a copy of the part information on the solenoid. I sent them all they requested. They have never followed up by phone or email. I have never received a replacement solenoid. I will call again tomorrow, but given my experience so far it doesn't sound like I will ever get a working touch faucet. It seems the goal is to just string you out until you give up. In summary, touch technology needs some improvement and better durability. A warranty for an item is only good as the company that backs it. Unfortunately, I though delta was a better company than what I have experienced so far. It seems the goal of customer service is not to help, but to string you along until you give up on a warranty claim. P.S. I got an email from Delta asking about my experience with customer service. I spent all of the time filling it out and giving all of this feedback. Despite asking for feedback, they either don't read it or don't care and I am not sure which is worse. No one from customer service or delta has reached out to me by phone or email. I have never received a replacement part from Delta.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mixed feelings The Delta Essa Touchless Kitchen Pull Down Faucet is undeniably pretty with its nickel finish, which looks sleek and is easy to wipe clean. The MagnaTite Docking feature is great, the spray wand snaps back into place with a strong magnet and doesn’t droop over time. The TempSense LED light that changes color based on water temperature ( range from blue for cool, purple for warm, red for hot) is a thoughtful touch, especially for households with kids to help prevent accidental burns. That said, I have mixed feelings about the overall design. My previous faucet had copper tubes and brass parts, while this one uses plastic tubes, which feels like a downgrade. I’d happily pay extra for higher quality materials. The Touchless feature sounds great in theory, but in practice, it wasn’t for me. It requires 6 AA batteries (included), and you can activate the water by either placing your hand near the faucet or tapping it. Unfortunately, I found it too sensitive. It would sometimes shut off midwash or turn on unexpectedly, which became frustrating. After a week, I removed the batteries and now use it as a regular faucet with the handle. For families with kids who can’t reach the handle, or for those who don’t frequently handwash dishes, this faucet could be a great fit. However, in my household, we often handwash chinaware, and the inconsistent activation was more of an inconvenience than a benefit. 3 stars.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love my new touchless tap! In general I am pretty happy with this product, it was my long term dream but I couldn't afford it. Now I enjoy it in full! My husband installed it pretty quick because package included everything we needed for installation. The tap has stylish design and high quality components. I still need to figure out how sensors work, because sometimes it's super sensitive, sometimes it needs couple touches. Pull down hose doesn't really goes back itself, I have to force it a bit. Other than that everything works great. I love Delta products. My old tap was Delta as well, just basic model, and it worked perfectly around 7 years before it got some dysfunction.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice, sleek faucet, works well so far. Overall pleased with the faucet. Installation was not too difficult (per my husband), you do need a little bit of space under the sink for the battery pack, so if you have alot under the sink already, you may need to rearrange. Touch IQ works good, almost too good, I need to decrease the sensitivity. The sink needs to be turned on for the touch to work, for some reason I didn't think of that, but it's helpful during meal prep when going back and forth to the sink between steps and/or cleaning. Looks nice, sleek. I would recommend this faucet. Deltas lifetime warranty is nice also!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another level! I received a Delta Essa Touchless Kitchen Pull Down faucet to try out. I can’t wait to have a touchless faucet as the one I currently have gets a lot of wear and tear, and can get pretty grimy with kids always being filthy and touching things, so this should help :) It comes with everything you need for hookup, including batteries. Delta hit a home run here!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Miss the removable aerator... Please bring back the removable aerator. This is my second Delta faucet. The quality of Delta is wonderful. I love the look and feel of the Essa faucet. My only complaint with my Essa faucet is that I cannot take out the aerator. We have mildly hard water, with a small amount of sediment. This is no problem when you can remove the aerator, which we usually do about every 2 months. We have had the Essa faucet 3 months and have had to remove the head nearly ever day to "tap" it out (nothing comes out, it just loosens the sediment temporarily) and have soaked it in 50/50 water & vinegar 2x. But it quickly plugs back up and we have terrible water pressure. The sediment is caught between the two aerators... If only I could just remove the one aerator and effectively flush it out! I would be a very happy person.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disposable This was a good faucet when first installed. It only lasted a year and a half. Garbage product. For the price, it should last longer than the disposable Home Depot $50 faucets. But no, it does not. I have to purchase a $60 part to get it working. So, avoid this, unless you’re ok with spending $60 evrey 18 months😒

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Modern faucet great design… leaking in 6 months I had this faucet installed less than 6 months ago and got a leak. The booklet provided with the faucet was for a different model. Now I’m trying to find the part number to order the Valve Cartridge… but not even the website shows me the part. I love Delta and have many of their products in my home….and haven’t had any issues before now.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Water spills all over the place This was installed by the builder in my new home and unfortunately, whenever I open the tap, water spills all over the place on the countertop around the sink. When spoken to the builder, they replied that is how this product works. I had a Moen kitchen faucet in my earlier home, never had this issue and the water flow was much smoother. I definitely wouldn't recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy install I had purchased a cheaper faucet of this type several years ago. We loved it, but it didn't last. I guess the "you get what you pay for" was true. This time we made the smart decision and purchased a Delta based on our past experience and how well they hold up. The install was easy and it works perfectly. Great purchase!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Didn’t last 6 months Just moved into a brand new house last summer and while I have been pleased with this faucet, the inside mechanisms are plastic and the handle is already malfunctioning. I’ve done my best to remove the handle and clean/grease the mechanism, but it is stuck and grinding with every use. The price should warrant better craftsmanship/quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wouldn't think of getting anything else. This is the second custom home I had built for me. Started with Moen in the house built in 2004. When the faucet broke, it was replaced with the Delta Essa and I love it. The new custom home that we just moved into has 2 of these faucets: one in the kitchen and one in the laundry room The builder was pushing Kohler but I put my foot down and insisted on the faucet(s) that I knew I loved. I'm very happy that I won that argument.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Odd angle I just had this faucet installed a few days ago. It looks beautiful and has strong water pressure. I like that it has two simple options: spray or stream. The faucet head stays locked in place well. My problem is with the angle of the water flow. I have a decent size sink—16 inches front to back, much wider left to right—and yet because the water shoots forward so far, it almost hits the front edge of my sink when it’s turned on all the way. I’m finding it awkward to wash dishes. I’m disappointed, since I paid money to have this faucet installed. I’m really trying to like it, but it doesn’t feel very functional.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality faucet, best we’ve ever had! I installed this faucet last evening myself (female over 60!). Easy except for small area under sink to move around. Need 2nd person to hold faucet while screwing nuts under sink. I love it! The water pressure is much higher, sprayer has regular and spray feature, and I eliminated old separate cheap sprayer, covered with matching sink hole cap. Solid, and looks really nice with brushed finish.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it!! I bought and installed it a few days ago. It really looks great and the magnetic pull down sprayer is fantastic. So much better than my original faucet with the separate sprayer and on off handle which always loosened up no matter what I did. So glad I bought this!

Can the aerator on this faucet be changed? Using this faucet with a point of use water heater which only works at a flow rate of 0.5 GPM. A flow restricting aerator is provided with the unit.

Asked by: schillingtm
Hi, schillingtm! Thank you for your question. The 9113T-DST sprayer assembly should have a 1.8 gpm flow rate. If you are getting 0.5 gpm, we recommend to clean the sprayer by soaking this in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water solution. You may soak for an hour or even overnight to clean. If this does not fix the issue, please contact our Delta Customer Service line at (800)345-3358. We are available Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm, CST and Saturday, 8am-5pm, CST.
