Rated 3 out of 5 by from Miss the removable aerator... Please bring back the removable aerator. This is my second Delta faucet. The quality of Delta is wonderful. I love the look and feel of the Essa faucet. My only complaint with my Essa faucet is that I cannot take out the aerator. We have mildly hard water, with a small amount of sediment. This is no problem when you can remove the aerator, which we usually do about every 2 months. We have had the Essa faucet 3 months and have had to remove the head nearly ever day to "tap" it out (nothing comes out, it just loosens the sediment temporarily) and have soaked it in 50/50 water & vinegar 2x. But it quickly plugs back up and we have terrible water pressure. The sediment is caught between the two aerators... If only I could just remove the one aerator and effectively flush it out! I would be a very happy person.

It is very tight to turn on and adjust the flow of water coming out. after using a week or so, my wrist hurts from adjusting. Not sure if my product is defective or it’s like this in all products.

I was looking for a quality Delta faucet with a pull down tap for ease of cleaning the sink. This Delta faucet was easy to install (okay, except for laying upside down in the cabinet to install). The Delta faucet is of good quality and I like the design with the single water temp handle. It is perfect for my use.

Hi, Greg51! Thank you for your question. The Delta 9113-DST Faucet has a flow rate of 1.80 gpm @ 60 psi. The unit is WaterSense® Labeled. WaterSense® labeled faucets use at least 20% less water than the industry standard—saving you money without compromising performance. Hi, Tonya! Thank you for your question. The battery pack is under your sink attached by a wire to the solenoid assembly. To replace the batteries, remove the battery cover from the top of the battery pack. Take the casing that the batteries are in from the battery pack and change out the batteries. Hello Renee, Thank you for your inquiry! Here is the cleaning care instructions from the Maintenance/Installation sheet, that comes with the faucet. Always blot dry any water from the faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to build up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse the surface thoroughly with water afterward. If additional cleaning is required, all of our finishes may be cleaned with the following household cleaners: Formula 409® Antibacterial All Purpose Cleaner, Fantastik® All Purpose Cleaner, or Windex® Original Glass Cleaner, when used according to the manufacturers' instructions for use. Avoid using the following which can damage your finish: Avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls, green Scotch-Brite heavy duty scrub sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner and Lysol Basin Tub, Soft Scrub, and Tile Cleaner. Avoid products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust and those containing hydrofluoric, hydrochloric and/or phosphoric acids and caustic agents. Avoid harsh abrasives or polishes. How do you install the cartridge

Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your Delta faucet. You will need a 1/8" allen wrench to remove the handle assembly. Please be sure to turn off the water at the shut off valve before removing the handle. You may also need an adjustable wrench to loosen the bonnet nut around the valve cartridge assembly. Once the bonnet nut is removed, the cartridge will slide out. Check the valve body for debris then insert the new cartridge, screw on the bonnet nut and please be sure not to over-tighten the bonnet as we recommend tightening a 1/4 turn to a full turn past finger tight. Then attach the handle with the set screw and this repair is complete. Turn on the shut off valves below the counter slowly and test to make sure the water flows correctly. You may install it with the handle on the front or left side, but the temperature adjustment will be opposite of the standard operation for single handle faucets. You could compensate for this by swapping the hot and cold supply lines under the sink. However, the red/blue button on the handle will no longer indicate the correct temperature.
