Rated 3 out of 5 by from Miss the removable aerator... Please bring back the removable aerator. This is my second Delta faucet. The quality of Delta is wonderful. I love the look and feel of the Essa faucet. My only complaint with my Essa faucet is that I cannot take out the aerator. We have mildly hard water, with a small amount of sediment. This is no problem when you can remove the aerator, which we usually do about every 2 months. We have had the Essa faucet 3 months and have had to remove the head nearly ever day to "tap" it out (nothing comes out, it just loosens the sediment temporarily) and have soaked it in 50/50 water & vinegar 2x. But it quickly plugs back up and we have terrible water pressure. The sediment is caught between the two aerators... If only I could just remove the one aerator and effectively flush it out! I would be a very happy person.

It is very tight to turn on and adjust the flow of water coming out. after using a week or so, my wrist hurts from adjusting. Not sure if my product is defective or it’s like this in all products.

I was looking for a quality Delta faucet with a pull down tap for ease of cleaning the sink. This Delta faucet was easy to install (okay, except for laying upside down in the cabinet to install). The Delta faucet is of good quality and I like the design with the single water temp handle. It is perfect for my use.

How to choose between standard and bar/prep sizes?

Hi, I am renovating a kitchen and putting in two sinks, one of which will be a Franke TCX110-18 in a kitchen island. I am trying to decide which faucet will be a better fit for this sink, the 9113-DST (standard) or the 9913-DST (bar/prep). Can you please advise which version of the faucet would be suitable for this sink? The sink's inner dimensions are 16x18" so I am wondering if the bar/prep faucet might be too small. Do you have any guidelines on how to choose between the standard and bar/prep faucets?

I just received my black delta essa pull down kitchen faucet, and i have noticed that the pull down nozzle head of the faucet is made of plastic. is there a specific reason for this?

Will the sprayer stay on without having to hold the button down

I'm considering your bar/prep faucet and a similar one by Moen. On the Moen faucet it apparently requires the button to be held or pressed constantly to keep the sprayer on. I prefer to be able to press the button once and keep the sprayer going and then press it again to return to a stream. How does yours work?

We do offer beverage faucets that have only one supply line and are designed to be a cold water dispenser only. Hi, Kathy! Thank you for your question. The Delta 9913T-DST Bar / Prep Faucet with Touch2O® Technology batteries can be replaced by removing the top lid off of the battery pack, under the sink. Once the lid is off of the battery pack, the battery case holder can be pulled straight out from the pack. Replace batteries as needed. Does the sprayer of the 9113 ar dst stay in spray mode at very low flow rates? Which Delta models are best at staying on spray at very low flow and not switching back to regular flow at low flow rates?

Do you have to hold the button to make it spray or can you just push it to the spray mode and it will stay like that until you press it again.  This question is for the Essa and Leland models.

Installation with soap and dishwasher air gap?

With the 9113-AR-DST installed in a standard 3 hole sink where the left hole is for soap, center for faucet and right for dishwasher air gap with the air gap that is 4" away from center of the faucet and 2" high get in the way of the handle operation for the 9113-AR-DST?

Can the aerator on this faucet be changed? Using this faucet with a point of use water heater which only works at a flow rate of 0.5 GPM. A flow restricting aerator is provided with the unit.

If you are getting 0.5 gpm, we recommend to clean the sprayer by soaking this in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water solution. You may soak for an hour or even overnight to clean. How does arctic stainless steel finish compare to a brushed stainless steel?

Over the years, the color of stainless steel used on appliances and sinks has migrated from warmer tones, with more red in the color spectrum, to lighter tones where blue is more predominant. However, we do recommend to use the RP37490 Stabilization Plate if installing on a thin gauge metal sink, to help prevent it from flexing. My installation is through a quartz countertop through an access hole in the undermount sink. How do I ensure the faucet nut being tightened?

The faucet is the Delta Essa 9113-DST. The countertop is 3cm, quartz and the sink is a Kohler 5818-5U Hartland. Will the nut fit through the sink access hole and sit flush against the countertop underside? Will I be able to tightened the nut using standard tools? There won't be enough room to use a sink wrench. Thank you.
