I chose this faucet primarily for its color, which matches the hardware in my kitchen. However, I didn’t do much research beforehand, and unfortunately, the design has proven to be less functional than expected. The handle is quite dainty and not very user-friendly. It’s also difficult to service when needed. Compared to other faucets I’ve purchased, this one falls short — I wouldn’t recommend it.

Great kitchen faucet
I have had two Delta kitchen faucets that I installed during kitchen
renovations. The first developed a blemish on the finish. Amazingly a replacement arrived the same day I sent a pic to let them know! I need a replacement pull-down sprayer on the second faucet and will gladly buy a replacement, because the rest of the faucet is like brand new after 12 years of use.

Love this faucet; Delta stands behind products
Purchased in 2018 for kitchen redo project; needed a small plastic part 2x since then, Delta sends out no problem as replacement part; recently needed to have spray end maintenance, Delta is sending replacement part(s). Love this faucet and the champagne bronze color is perfect and will be a staple color for years to come.

Can the spout of a model 9159T-DTS be removed from this faucet ?

Thank you for your question. The 9159-DST has a removable spout assembly. To remove the spout, first push in the small button at the back of the spout assembly. At the same time the small button is pushed in, twist and pull the spout assembly up and off of the base of the faucet.

Two questions - I read somewhere that Delta manufactures a plate for faucet and soap dispenser but I don't see it. I also need a matching champagne bronze air switch for my dishwasher. Will you link me to both if you manufacture them? Thanks!

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, Delta does not currently manufacture an escutcheon/base combination plate for a faucet and soap dispenser installation.
We do manufacture an Air Gap 72020-CZ with a 5/8" dishwasher inlet connection.

How to repair a loose handle? I didn't see any screw on the handle.

The Delta model 9159-LS-DST has a small button that hides the set screw. Remove the small button by popping the button out. The set screw can be tightened from the handle with a 1/8" Allen wrench.

The stream pressure is not full and when I position the handle for hot water, there is no hot water. How do I fix it?

Our Delta Faucet Trinsic® Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Limited Swivel In Chrome MODEL#: 9159-LS-DST would need to be flushed. Low flow is caused by a blockage or debris, and we would recommend flushing the unit.
To flush the unit, we recommend the following:
Start with the easy stuff:
Remove your aerator, wand or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed.
If the flow is good, the piece you’ve removed is where the issue is.
Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow.
If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet.
Next, check the supply lines for debris:
Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines.
Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water.
Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside a bucket.
Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply.

My Trinsic faucet has a leak from inside the mounting tube which has no access. Will replacing the valve correct this?
Do you sell a replacement spray head for the trinsic chrome model? My black button will not go fully into the solid stream position or the spray position--it is caught between both modes. I tried taken apart and cleaning it, but that didn't work.

I’d like to purchase the bar prep version of the trinsic because if it’s lower height, but I’m afraid the depth won’t reach far enough into a regular kitchen sink. Would you recommend this faucet for use in the kitchen sink?

Our Delta Faucet 9959-BL-DST reaches 6 1/2" from the center of the valve to the center of the spout whereas the 9159-DST reaches 9 1/2" inches from the center of the valve to the center of the spout.
Our Bar/prep faucets are recommended to be used in a bar/prep type of installation.

9159-AR-DST. Where the neck and spout meet, there is play in the spout as it wobbles in any direction. I read in a question that a friction spacer is needed. I do not see this part in the list, is it also called a retainer? How do you install this?

The faucet head is loose, not at the base where it meets the counter that is fine, it is about a third of the way up where it steps in the units wiggles and rocks back and forth. This is the second unit we have had as the first leaked from inside the unit

How to make the handle easier to move without resistance

Unfortunately, the faucet does not have an adjustment for the handle tightness. To first troubleshoot an issue, I recommend securing the hose and flushing the faucet with the sprayer removed. If the issue remains the cartridge may need to be replaced.
