Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hot and cold labels not consistent I have both this faucet and the Trinsic single-handle bathroom vanity faucet. The cold and hot label are in the opposite direction. For one faucet, when you pull towards the wall, it is hot; in the other, it is cold. It is dangerous for young children, and annoying for us and guests as it is not consistent. Is there any way this can be fixed?

However the handle needs a cover so it doesn’t activate the on/off switch for water supply when trying regulate the volume/temp. Frustrating but manageable. Hopefully Delta has a handle cover (can’t find one).

The product no longer works and as I try to find out warranty information, Delta deleted my original registration. Now I have to re-register my product again to even get help. This is both an inconvenience and perhaps a policy change if they no longer provide warranty on my product. Frustrating!!!

We always struggled with getting the touch feature to work, but its gotten worse to the point that 2.5months in I get water in my kitchen maybe 1 time out of 7-8 times I try in a day! We just go through a big ennovation and remodel and the last thing Iw anted was to have to deal with product issues when you invest in a supposedly high quality product. never buying Delta again. Will now see if my husband can figure out how to disable the electronic part and make it manual and will be sure to tell all our friends who are remodelling to stay away from Delta

Subject: Disappointing Experience with [Kitchen Faucet Brand] I recently purchased a this faucet and I must say it has been an incredibly frustrating experience. The faucet itself has – rusted, unreliable, and prone to leaks. But the real nightmare began when I attempted to seek assistance from their customer service. It's as if they've adopted a strategy of actively avoiding customer inquiries. The response time was abysmal, and when I finally did get in touch, the representative seemed disinterested and unhelpful. I regret investing my hard-earned money in a product that not only fails in functionality but also in providing basic customer support. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for a reliable kitchen faucet.

When called customer service they insinuated that I wasn’t keeping it clean. My old cheap faucet lasted longer than this. They refuse to uphold warranty for cheap material and a cheap product. It leaks, has rust and just appalling customer service what a shame.

One day old Model 9159T-DST solenoid works intermittently, usually works first use after being off for awhile, but then doesn't shut water off/on when touched. You can hear the solenoid &quot;clicking&quot; when you touch the faucet, but water doesn't shut off.

Hello Jay13, Thank you for contacting us. I apologize you're having difficulties with your Delta touch faucet and I am happy to be able to assist you. There are some prominent reasons the touch feature could be acting erratically. Please make sure any wires are isolated from the solenoid box, the water supply lines, and anything else that might conduct electricity. If space is limited, we recommend a minimum of two inches of clearance, if possible. We also recommend placing the battery pack flat on the floor or as close to the ground at your feet as possible. The battery pack should have at least 2 inches of clearance from the walls or anything that can conduct electricity below the counter as the pack is also touch-sensitive. Please ensure your LED wire and green sense wire are isolated from anything conductive and your sense wire is securely mounted on the threads of the shank. After making the necessary changes, there is a certain way in which we recommend changing the batteries in order to allow the electronics to reset. First, remove the battery cable from the side of the battery box, then remove the old batteries and install new batteries, then reattach the battery cable. After doing this, turn the faucet on by the handle and tap the spout to turn it on and off by touch. If this resolves the issue we know it was battery-related. How should this faucet be cleaned? We have it in Champagne Bronze

Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to a build-up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean, soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse the surface thoroughly with water afterward. We own this faucet and we need the spray assembly-pull-down in arctic stainless without the hose. The mesh of the sprayer tore, we found the unit however it includes the hose the cost is $86. Can we get it without the hose and reduce the cost.&nbsp;

Temp indicator light stays on and water drips when turned off by touch

Hi Archer, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. Here is the information needed to resolve your issue for you. We would also like to have you do a flush of the unit, flushing the touch faucet will fix multiple issues with leaking, flow, and debris. Please see the steps below. We would like you to keep the handle in the center full-on position, then remove the wand. Hold the hose, so it does not fall back into the faucet, then point the hose into the sink. Next, I would like you to turn the faucet on by touch for 40 seconds. Then shut the faucet off by touch and back on for another 40 seconds. Then hold the handle and move it off and then back on without letting go for another 40 seconds. Once this has been done, please re-install the wand and check for leaking. Next, check the supply lines for debris: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside a bucket. Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. Touch function not working. I replaced the batteries, which didn't resolve problem. When the handle is in the &quot;on&quot; position and the faucet is touched, the light goes on and stays on. When touched again, the light goes off but the water continues to run.

Is there a plug-in option to bypass the battery pack for the 9159T-CZ-DST faucet? I find I have to replace batteries every 4 months and the battery pack is very sensitive so it takes some effort to get it to work after replacing the batteries.

Hi - I have the Trinsic Touch20 Arctic Stainless, 9159T-ARDST faucet for less than 3 years and it started leaking by the handle. After some troubleshooting, it doesn't leak when I turn off the hot water supply. What would be the issue?

We&rsquo;ve had this touch faucet since Nov 2020 and now starting today it is dripping when off but, if you &ldquo;shut&rdquo; it off with the handle it doesn&rsquo;t drip&hellip; is there a way to fix this problem?

I purchased this faucet in March of 2023. The pull-out faucet does not sit straight on the end of the stationary part of the faucet. It looks like the inner part is not made straight so it won't sit correctly. Does the warranty cover this?

I have the Delta 9159T AR DST with H2O touch technology. Just encountered very low water pressure today...only this faucet. How can I repair? Please advise.

Hello EricS, Thank you for your question! I am happy to help you! The low flow your experiencing with our Delta Faucet TRINSIC&reg; Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet With Touch2O&reg; Technology MODEL#: 9159T-AR-DST appears to be caused by debris within the solenoid assembly. We recommend doing a flush on your electronic components. Please follow the below steps to resolve your drip: 1. Put the handle in the off position. 2. Remove the blue clip that is attached to the top of solenoid assembly below the sink. 3. Pull the solenoid off of the faucet connection. Remove the debris screen in the top connection if able and clear any debris with tweezers or a q-tip. 4. Set a bucket under the pex supply line that is exposed. 5. Place the handle in the on position and allow it to run water for 2 full minutes. This will clear the supply line out of any debris. 6. Put the handle back into the off position. 7. Reconnect the solenoid to the faucet and clip it back into place. 8. Now remove the bottom clip from the solenoid where the hose connects and pull the hose off. 9. Turn the water back on for an additional 2 minutes to clear the solenoid assembly of any remaining debris. 10. Reconnect the hose and clip it into place again. Can I make this faucet voice activated?

A label under the sink says #9959, but I believe it's 9959T of some sort because it does have the touch technology and the blue LED works. However, the LED won't change to red when the water heats up. Is something not working, or do I have an old model?

Hi Felix, Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company about 9159T-AR-DST! The faucet has two solenoid options depending on what year it was manufactured. The hot water supply line will have the manufacturing date. If the faucet was installed before 2018, you would need EP74855. If the faucet was installed after 2018, you would need EP92546.
