For cold you turn the handle up and for hot you turn it down. Had I not paid a plumber a goodly sum to install it I would have returned it.

They didn’t disappoint on this latest home built almost three years ago. For some reason the cartridge went bad and caused a leak the week of my daughter’s wedding. They expedited shipment and I received a free replacement cartridge and we got it fixed before company started to arrive!!! Love Delta faucets!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Faucet is good, touch feature not so much I picked this faucet for a new kitchen and thought the touch feature would be handy, since we do a lot of cooking. The faucet itself is fine, it works well, I like the pull-out sprayer, and it’s a lovely faucet. After three months, I gave up on the touch feature and switched to manual mode. I read all the support articles, watched videos, and I guess it works like it should. But I didn’t like it. It is balky, doesn’t always react quickly to touch, and makes adjusting flow rate harder. Touch might be great if you only use one flow rate most of the time, say for handwashing, but if you are frequently adjusting the flow rate it is just awkward. The faucet also gets dirtier all over with touching the spout often. I have a similar Delta touch faucet in my laundry room, and it’s fine. That faucet doesn’t get as much use as the kitchen. I wouldn’t get another touch faucet and doubt I will replace batteries in the laundry faucet when they die.

The base plate for the 9182 AR PR DST requires three holes in the countertop. Can the two outside legs be removed so only one hole is cut in the quartz countertop?

Does the spray setting reset when you turn off the faucet or does it stay on so that when you turn on the faucet it is still on the spray setting? In otherwards, is there a default setting when the faucet turn on?

Hello Valued Customer, Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company! It is possible that a flush could resolve this issue with the Emmeline® Pull Down Kitchen Faucet Model#: 9182T-PR-DST. To flush the supply line, first shut off the hot and cold-water supply. Remove the hot supply line from the shut-off valve and place the line into a bucket. Open the handle to the fully open middle position, and then turn the cold supply back on for one minute. The cold water should flow through the faucet and out the hot supply tube. The faucet head is leaking and when I took it off, I could see the O-ring was destroyed. I reviewed all three manuals, but could not find the O-ring size for replacement. The faucet head shows part number A112.13.1M

Where is the aerorator

The weight was installed as per p.8 of the installation guide - weights sits at the bottom of the loop made by the hose. But when the pull-down is used, the hose just hangs down and does not retract or redock. Is this normal? Is this by design?

Hi Dino, Thank you for your question! Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. Here is what we can do to resolve your issue for you. The Delta Faucet model 9982T-PR-DST Single Handle Pull Down Bar/Prep Faucet With Touch2O Technology In Lumicoat Chrome can be bypassed for manual operation using the below steps. 1. Place the handle in the off position. 2. Pull the LED base wire out of the solenoid assembly. Then remove the C-clip secured on the threaded shank. 3. Pull the bottom blue clip connecting the hose to the electronics off and flip the top blue clip down to release. 4. Grip the solenoid and pull the hose off. Is there a reason or an adjustment I can make for the hot water?  When I turn the faucet to hot I do not get hot water for 1-2 minutes. Is there a safety setting ?  Model # 9182T-CZ-PR-DST

We will be happy to assist you in resolving the temperature issue as quickly as possible. Touch2O faucets include check valves that should be installed on the hot and cold water supplies. When the handle is left in the open position and if the cold water pressure is higher than the hot water pressure, cold water will crossflow through the faucet and into the hot water supply when the faucet is off. ToucH20 faucet (installed 5/2019) sometimes works, sometimes takes many taps, sometimes I have to resort to the bathroom faucet. Can a plumber remove/bypass Touch technology so it can be used strictly manually? Replaced batteries twice in the past 5 wks
