RESEÑAS
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy ordering and exactly what we needed I was happy to find a kit with all of the pieces I needed for our bathroom in one place, and especially grateful that I did not have to think hard about which valves were needed. Having all the parts ready in one package was wonderful.

Can I bypass and use the right port and not the left port? I have purchased an R11000 3 port diverter.

Asked by: todd
Thank you for your question, Todd. The if you are only using two ports, the right port must be capped. However, you can plumb it from the left port to the right side as needed. Best regards, Jon

what is the cartridge part number to this valve?

Asked by: gabe
Thank you for your question, gabe! The R10000 MultiChoice Universal valves are named so because they are able to accept any of the current MultiChoice valve trim cartridges, allowing you to easily change the style and function of your shower. These cartridges are included in the shower trim and will depend on the features you are needing. A 13/14 series has only one handle that controls volume and temperature together whereas a 17 series trim has a volume control and temperature knob for independent control. A Tempassure Thermostatic cartridge can further monitor the temperature within a safe ±3.6° F (±1.7° C). https://www.deltafaucet.com/shower-cartridges Best regards, Edward

a client would like to use the r11000 diverter in place of a pull up tub spout diverter. will the flow rate be reduced to the tub spout? Do you have the GPM specs going to the tub filler for a standard valve and one that goes through the r11000 diverter?

Asked by: mike
Hi, Mike! Thank you for your question. We do not advise to install a tub spout assembly to the Delta R11000 Diverter Rough In as the tub spout will not have a positive shut off while the shower components are in use. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Best Regards, Rosanna

I purchased t14253 shower trim, 50570 elblow, and 57530 hand shower.  This is a shower only (no tub).  I think I need the the R10000-UNWSHF and R11000 diveter.  Is this correct and what trim for the diverter do you recommend?  Anything else?

Asked by: JosephD
Thank you for your question, Joseph! Those valves are correct for the setup you have described. If you have two showering components (shower head and hand shower), the matching diverter trim will be model number T11853. https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=T11853 Best regards, Jon

How to plumb the R11000 rough in with a rain shower head, handheld and tub fill

I have the T14486-SHQ and I'm also installing the 55530 wall mount handshower. I purchased the R11000 diverter. Can you explain the correct way to install in order to allow me to switch between the overhead shower, handheld and tub fill? Thanks
Asked by: Ki@m
Hi Ki@m, Thank you for your question. The tub spout that comes with the model T14486-SHQ is a diverter tub spout. Using that tub spout you would cap the right side or 3 o-clock port on the R11000 diverter rough and plumb the rain shower head out of the 12 o-clock port and the hand shower from the 9 o-clock port. The shower port from the R10000 faucet rough would be plumbed to the 6 o-clock port on the R11000 diverter rough. The T11886 diverter trim will allow you to operate each showerhead individually or both at the same time. Thanks, Dave

Had a plumber install R11000 diverter and I think it's upside down. Can I make this work or do I need to correct?

Asked by: Curt
Hi Curt, I'm sorry to hear about that and would be happy to answer your question. The bottom port of the R11000 valve must be connected to the water supply in order for the diverter to work properly. If this was done, you may still install the trim, but it will be upside down as well. If the top port of the diverter valve was connected to the supply, it will not work. Best regards, Jon

Have an Addison shower, bathtub spout, and handheld shower combined with a T11892 diverter that doesn't work correctly

the twelve o'clock setting goes to overhead shower, the next setting goes to both the shower and the tub spout, the 9 o'clock setting goes to the tub spout, but none go to the hand held shower. how do I fix the problem?
Asked by: Tim
Hi Tim, Thank you for your question. The T11892 is a 3 setting 2 port diverter trim that is only made to operate 2 features, not the 3 that you have plumbed to the diverter valve. You can order the RP51919 6 function diverter cartridge and switch it with the existing cartridge to have all of the features, showerhead, tub spout, and hand shower work properly. Thanks, Dave

Will this work with 3/4" pex connection? I already purchased the Delta T14067-BL. Will this trim/plate fit?  We're only using 2 pots and capping the third. Is the R11000 my best option?

Asked by: JZee
Hi, JZee! Thank you for your question. The Delta R11000 is a diverter rough. The Delta Monitor T14067-BL Valve Trim Kit will need to be installed onto a Delta MultiChoice Universal R10000 Rough Valve Body. All of our rough inlets and outlets have 1/2" connections. can i plug the left side of the diverer i want the hand held onthe right side and is the silver bonnet only there for the leak test

Asked by: joe
Hi Joe, Thank you for your question! The right port needs to be capped off in a 3 setting application. If you cap the left port the water will not be diverted properly. The bonnet nut is to hold the diverter cartridge into the valve body. Best regards, Brandis

Have R10000 valve  R1100 diverter & T11853 trim kit. Do I cap right side of diverter and use bottom port for water in-left port for water to showerhead-top port to hand held. With configuration will both work independently and simultaneously if desired.

Asked by: Joey Beans
Thank you for your inquiry, Joey Beans! Yes, the Delta R11000 3/6-Setting Diveter valve would be install above the main MultiChoice Universal rough-In R10000-UNBX valve. If installing the Delta Vero 3-Setting Diverter T11853 you would need to cap off the right port of the diverter valve. This will allow you to run the shower head and hand shower individually or together. Best regards, Tanya

replace functions

Hi I currently have a delta shower, rainhead, and 3 body sprays installed with 17T/18T series trim. This set up allows for a total of three functions. What will take to replace the current diverter by a 6-way so the rain head and handheld can have their own functions? • Replace the diverter and trim? • Remove a few tiles so I have access to replace the existing diverter? • Anything else to consider? The existing set up was installed sometime in 2010 I am obviously not very experienced with delta yet and would appreciate any help. Thanks
Asked by: Mike
Thank you for your question. It actually is a pretty easy fix to upgrade from the 3-setting diverter to a 6-setting diverter. The only thing you will need to replace is the diverter trim. The valve is the same valve.

What valves do I need?

I have a tub/shower with controls on one side, and shower head and tub spout on the other. Originally installed just an R10000, but getting water from shower head when filling bath (shower rise). Should I add an R11000 diverter, and if so which ports should I use?
Asked by: Greg
Dear Greg, Thank you for your question. The Delta R11000 is a 3 / 6-Setting Diverter valve. You would install this valve, (above the R10000 main valve) if you are adding an extra showerhead, handshower or body sprays to your bathtub/shower unit. If you are just adding one extra showering unit, you would need to cap off the right side of the R11000 diverter valve. Best regards, Tanya
