Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delta Stands Behind It's Products 100% I called to inquire about a drain assembly that has been in our master bath for 23 years. It has started to lack sealing totally. I called the Delta warranty department and they were OUTSTANDING in assisting me with the full replacement at no cost as Delta stands behind their lifetime warranty....I will not use any other product except Delta...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality Installed this stopper assembly in matte black and within a yr the finish flaked off the top of the stopper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product Works great matches my existing hardware

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Two in three years! Disappointed in the quality. I purchased this direct from Delta about 8-9 months ago as a replacement for the original that was newly installed in 2020 as part of a bathroom remodel. The finish wore off on the original and the replacement has suffered the same fate - but much more quickly. Very disappointed in the quality given the cost. There is nothing special about what happens in my sink. Soap, water, toothpaste, mouthwash, and standard cleaning. All the normal things that would happen in a bathroom sink.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's a drain pipe! I bought this item to replace the one that was installed in April 2020 when we had our master bathroom renovated. The black matte finish had worn off the flange and unfortunately I couldn't just purchase the flange in a black matte finish. Really do like the black matte finish, but I was disappointed that the original only lasted a little over two years. I hope this new one fares better. Installation was fairly straightforward.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just like the picture [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this product online and it is exactly what I was looking for. It is a replacement to what I have. I got very good customer support on the phone as well. Do not use harsh chemicals when cleaning your sink, it may take away the finish of this product.

Hello. I was wondering if this drain assembly is a push up and push down assembly since the rod assembly is not included? Thank you.

Asked by: robert
Hello Robert, Thank you for your question. The Delta Pop-Up/Drain assembly is a standard drain assembly that connects to the lift rod, coming through the faucet. However, we do manufacture the Push Pop-Up assemblies 72172-BL or 72173-BL. Please feel free to call, email, or message us on social if there is anything else you need. https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=72172-BL https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=72173-BL Best regards, Tanya Phone: 1-800-345-3358 | Email: customerservice@deltafaucet.com | Facebook/Twitter: @deltafaucet

When installed, is the flange supposed to sit 1/2 " above the sink level?

Asked by: Pauline
Thank you for your question, Pauline! The stopper assembly, when opened, will sit approximately 1/2" above the sink basin, however the flange should be flush with the sink's surface. Best regards, Edward

Will this drain assembly fit a sink with a 1-1/2" drain hole

I find that none of the plastic drain assemblies will fit a 1-1/2" hole and am looking for options.
Asked by: Mike
Hi Mike, Thank you for your question. The threaded portion of the flange is 1 3/8" and the top surface diameter is 2 1/8". This assembly should work with a 1 1/2" diameter drain. However, the depth of the hole must be 1 5/8" to 2 3/8". Thanks, Jon

Installed 4 RP26533 drains and they all leak under the nut. None of the boxes came with install instructions.

Asked by: TomFaucet
Thank you for your question, TomFaucet! I apologize for the inconvenience with this installation. We recommend using plumbers tape where this assembly screws onto the tailpiece as instructions suggest on page 5, step C of the Maintenance and Installation manual below for a model that also uses this assembly. We advise putting the thread seat tape on clockwise and no more then three time around. If you need further assistance, please feel free to contact us directly. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/101967%20Rev%20A.pdf Best regards, Edward

It doesn't show in the instructions but should there be Teflon tape on the threads of the sink flange before screwing in to the body? I have a very small amount of water leaking down the threads between the body and the brass nut.

Asked by: DeltaFaucet99
Hi, DeltaFaucet99! Thank you for your question. The flange for the Delta RP25633OB Drain Assembly can be wrapped with plumber's tape before threading into the drain pipe. Best Regards, Rosanna

Can I just buy the pivot rod?

Asked by: Bob Harmony

I have this current faucet in 4 sinks in our 4 year old house and all four  faucets have started to leak in the last couple months.  The leak is behind the sink, under the counter and goes down the pole that regulates the stopper which is causing damage.

On the drain assembly where the ball valve goes into the drain there is a nut. Is there supposed to be a plastic washer to go on before the nut goes on to hold the ball snug so the pull handle on top of the sink stays in place and keep water from leaking

Asked by: mself
Hello mself, Thank you for your question. We are happy to help! The Delta RP26533 metal drain assembly would include a pivot seat and gasket that are installed before installing the horizontal rod. The nut is then installed directly after the horizontal rod. Some faucet models include a plastic drain assembly without a removable pivot seat and gasket. Please reach out directly if you have any questions or need additional assistance. Best regards, Bryan
