RESEÑAS
Rated 1 out of 5 by from No pressure Very little water pressure. I installed 2 of these and get very little pressure from either. When I remove the aerator I have great pressure and flow. Putting the aerator back on and very little water comes out with very little pressure. I have great pressure throughout the house.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from poor design and difficult customer service Poor design - removing the aerator and finding a replacement appears to be an impossible task. Customer service is weak and the phone number to call for assistance is just taking me in circles. I am sure I will get a "form letter" type of response apologizing for my bad experience, but you can save it! Switching to another brand!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Same Model but Different GPM Water Strength Installed 6 of these in all sinks in our new home in 2019. Replace one in July 2023. New faucet has restricted water flow with a spout restrictor change. Need to get faucet with old round restrictor vs. new square restrictor. See pictures.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor warranty backing I have had this faucet for the last 10 years or so. Aside from replacing the cartridges once, it has been fine, until the finish started to crack away, and then yesterday a leak developed from under the sink where it connects to the drain pipe. I called today for a warranty claim, and the phone representative said to me that they only recommend half vinegar and half water for cleaning. Who doesn't use commercial cleaners to clean their bathroom? So since I had said I use Scrubbing Bubbles (as I have for every other house/brand of faucet), the warranty won't be honored. I'll just say that MOEN has never refused to back up their products. So now I have an offer of 50% off a product instead of the replacement I should be sent, yet why would I want to use Delta again if this is the way they back up their product??

Can temp be increased on b3596lf? When both H and C on full, not even luke warm. By itself, nice and hot. Need to turn handle about 75 degrees before water comes ouy. Water flow is fine. 1800 sf ranch, 64 psi and 10+gpm. RP1000 same deal in shower.

Asked by: Jeff K
Hello Jeff K, Thank you for your question! I am happy to help you! Our Delta B3596LF-OB has no way to increase the temperature, However we do recommend that your water heater is set at 120 or lower. This will then allow you faucet and shower to have hotter water at the GPM it is providing. Please contact us back for any further questions. Best Regards, Nicole

What type of metal is the Windermere faucet B3596LF made of? Is there a difference between this model and B35996LF?

Asked by: Mary71
Hi Mary, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model B3596LF Windemere® Two Handle Widespread Bathroom Faucet In Chrome. I am sorry this information was not readily available, and I am happy to help! Unfortunately, we do not have a complete breakdown of the materials used in this faucet model. In general, metal parts are usually brass (hub, handle, body, tube, fittings), zinc (escutcheon, hub, handle), or stainless steel (set screw, undercover plate). Non-metallic products are beneficial in that they do not rust or corrode and help prevent heat transfer. Model B35996LF-ECO includes a nonmetallic drain assembly. Model B3596LF includes a metal drain assembly. Please contact us directly if you have any questions or need additional assistance. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. Purchased the B3596LF-OB bathroom faucet in Aug. 2020. The hot water valve originally worked great now the water flow doesn't start until the handle reaches the end of the travel. Any fix?

Asked by: Snowman
Hello Snowman, Thank you for your question! I am happy to help you! Our Delta B3596LF-OB low flow is caused by debris or blockage, with this I would ask that you do a whole faucet flush. Please shut water supplies off before starting this process. You will need 1/8” allen wrench if you have lever handles, a Philips screwdriver if you have knob handles, a towel, and a bucket. Please remove your handle with the 1/8" allen wrench if you have a lever or remove the top cap to reveal the Philips screw if you have a knob handle, then pull the handle off of the stem unit. You will now see a bonnet nut, please remove it with your wrench. Please take note of how your stem units are installed in the valve. Please lift straight up to pull the stem units out and If you look into the valve, you should see a seat and spring. Please pull these pieces out before we flush. Next place the towel behind the back of the faucet then put the bucket over the top of the towel. Have someone turn the cold water supply on for about 30 seconds to a minute. After this, shut the cold water off and move the bucket and towel to the hot side flush that out as well. Lastly, Remove the aerator and soak with a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water for about 15 minutes, and make sure to rinse the aerator off with water when completed. Please contact back for any further questions. Best Regards, Nicole

A few of the reviews for this faucet mention corrosion problems at the base.  I need an oil rubbed bronze faucet, and I am having this issue with the faucet I'm replacing at the base.  How do I avoid corrosion on this Delta oil rubbed bronze faucet?

Asked by: Marcia
Hello Marcia, Thank you for your question! We apologize that the information you are searching for was not readily available. We realize that can be very frustrating and I am happy to assist you! We thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. To avoid buildup on the Delta Faucet model B3596LF-OB Windemere® Two Handle Widespread Bathroom Faucet In Oil Rubbed Bronze, always blot dry any water from the faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to a build-up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse the surface thoroughly with water afterward. If additional cleaning is required, all of our finishes may be cleaned with the following household cleaners: Formula 409® Antibacterial All-Purpose Cleaner, Fantastik® All-Purpose Cleaner, or Windex® Original Glass Cleaner when used according to the manufacturers' instructions for use. Avoid using the following which can damage your finish: Avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls, green Scotch-Brite heavy duty scrub sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner, and Lysol Basin Tub, Soft Scrub, and Tile Cleaner. Avoid products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust and those containing hydrofluoric, hydrochloric, and/or phosphoric acids and caustic agents. Avoid harsh abrasives or polishes. Avoid bleach-based cleaners. Please contact us back directly via email with any further questions. Best Regards, Skyler
