RESEÑAS
Rated 1 out of 5 by from "Pivotal" fixtures In 2019, we selected this faucet for the sinks and tub in our remodeled master bath from a local kitchen and bath showroom. That choice proved to be a major mistake. Unlike the fixtures in our 2002 custom-built home -all stunning Delta workhorses- these new fixtures have consistently failed us. Issues began shortly after installation. Despite years of costly repairs, no plumber has been able to stabilize the swiveling handles or remove the clogged aerators for cleaning. We are now forced to replace these expensive fixtures, as the handles remain loose and the aerators reduce water flow to a mere trickle. What was meant to be a beautiful, spacious retreat with a walk-in shower and high-end updates has become a source of ongoing frustration and regret. With our trust in Delta products compromised, we have yet to choose a replacement and move on.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stainless Steel Faucet - water taps move We have had two sets of these installed in our master bathroom for about a year. Three months in one of the handles started moving when you turned it on and off, I stopped using it. Now 3 out of the 4 handles do the same thing. I see no reason why they should not stay locked in place, and it is very frustrating.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor design I love the look of this product and bought them for all the sinks and showers when I built my house. Since moving in I had nothing but issues with the sink faucet (handles don’t lock into place as the should so instead of a straight line in the off position the handle has a gap and sits at an angle) as well as one of the shower heads (different sprayer options doesn’t work). This is so disappointing cause I have not had issues with delta products bought in the past.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great looking contemporary style used to replace previous faucet. Love the look. Had a bit of trouble with the install keeping the base of the cold water from moving. We think it has been resolved.

Date published: 2024-06-08
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Should be recalled I’m having the same problem. Bezel just keeps spinning from the junk plastic parts. With so many people complaining over the same problem, there should be a recall. This problem started several months ago for me.

I installed a new Pivotal bath sink faucet and it doesn’t have enough pressure/water flowing.  Shutoff valves are full open.  I removed aerator and it remains the same. What can I do to fix this problem?

Asked by: Anthony
Hello Anthony, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! I am sorry this information was not readily available, and I am happy to help you! Our Delta Faucet Pivotal® Two Handle Widespread Bathroom Faucet In Chrome MODEL#: 3599LF-MPU has a max flow rate of 1.2 GPM @ 60 PSI, I would first measure to verify that you are getting this flow. If the flow is lower, then we recommend flushing. Please shut water supplies off before starting this process, also grab a towel, and a bucket. Please follow the next set of instructions, which can also be found on page 7 of the maintenance and installation sheet. A. Rotate handle base (2) by about 45 degrees and pull up on the handle to remove. B. Remove screw (3) and connector (4). C. Loosen nut and washer (6) from below sink until nut and stop (5) can be removed. Removing the nut and stop will disengage the valve shank (7) from the sink. D. Remove cartridge (1) by turning it counterclockwise with a 17 mm or 11/16" hex socket wrench Next place the towel behind the back of the handle, then put the bucket over the top of the towel covering the opening in the valve. Have someone turn the cold water supply on for about 30 seconds to a minute. After this, shut the cold water off and move the bucket and towel to the hot side, flush that out as well. Lastly, remove the aerator and soak with a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water for about 15 minutes, and make sure to rinse the aerator off with water when completed. This faucet also has a flow restrictor located under the spout body, please see the instructions below: With the water still off, remove the clip off the tee, then remove the tee from the shank by pulling straight down on it. The flow restrictor is located in the pipe attached to the spout body, and that would need to be removed and cleaned. These instructions can also be found on page 7 of the installation guide, the link is located below. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/91204%20Rev%20F.pdf Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. Please contact us back with any further questions. Best Regards, Nicole

We have very hard water. Our contractor delayed in installing our water softener and now we need to clean hard water off shower glass. What do you recommend so that we do not harm the shower fixture finish on our nickel Pivotal fixtures?

Asked by: Todd
Hello Todd, Thank you for your question. We are happy to help! Always blot dry any water from the faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to build up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse the surface thoroughly with water afterward. Asked by: DragonTim
Hi TDuncan, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 3599LF-MPU. Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. We are happy to help! I would first recommend soaking the aerator area with 50/50 white vinegar and water, then rinsing the finish. A plastic bag and rubber band is one good way, or by wetting a towel. If the issue remains, a replacement aerator and wrench are available as RP92256. https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts/product/RP92256.html Please reach out if you have any additional questions!
