Hi Ron, Thank you for your question. This model is a tub faucet trim. Unfortunately, the max deck thickness for the rough-in valve (R2707) is 2 1/2". Thanks, Jon

It is not that the BT2796_OB won'y fit, as it Will But there will be a hole to the side of the spout, which possibly can be repaired with a garden tub repair kit for tile etc. This is what Delta CSR recently told me and I plan on trying it.

Thank you for your question. Without knowing whether or not you have a Delta Faucet rough-in valve in your roman tub, we cannot recommend any Delta Faucet trim. If you could send a picture of the top of your rough-in valve to our Home Owner line at customerservice@deltafaucet.com, they will be able to identify it being a Delta or not.

Hi Ana, Thank you for your question. The BT2796-SS spout does take a standard 15/16"-27 male threaded stream straightener. You would have to purchase an aerator adapter to convert the threads to work with a hand shower. Thanks, Dave

Dear Cookie, Thank you for your question. If your current tub spout has a set screw on the back side of the spout, then any of our trim kits that start with a T27 will interchange for you. If your current tub spout does not have a set screw on the back side of the spout, then you would need to install a R2707 rough in valve below your tub decking to be able to use the new trim kits. Hi CJ, Thank you for your question. The spout base has the largest measurement at 3" on the outside. The cutouts for the valve rough will only be 1-1/2" holes. The model B2796-SS should fit on your 4" tub deck. Thanks, Dave

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # BT2796-OB will need a rough-in kit with the model number of R2707 to make a complete faucet.

Hello Ross, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model BT2796 Windemere® Roman Tub Trim In Chrome. I apologize for any difficulty finding this information. I know that can be frustrating. We are happy to help! In general, if the old Delta roman tub spout has a set screw on the back at the bottom securing it to the spout adapter rough, the old trim can be replaced with the current trim. I also recommend making sure your valve installation meets the specifications for the trim kit. Also, older valves had adjustable height end valves.
