My plumber installed a Delta valve in my shower due to a miscommunication about the shower system I bought that didn’t come with a valve. Unfortunately or maybe fortunately depends which way you look at it, he installed the valve at standard height which meant the shower system had to be installed at the height of a 7 foot tall person. I was really annoyed that I was going to have replace my shower system with Delta shower products to match up with the valve that was already installed. When I was growing up Delta was the cheapest product used in tract homes. Much to my surprise Delta has completely changed for the better! I am very impressed with how nicely the shower head and valve cover perform. I also bought the diverter valve which is awesome and the totally incredible handheld shower that has a button for spraying water out the end to clean the shower walls.

Nice but returned
This was very nice looking but I decided to go with a different pattern from Delta. I believe this was a heavy plastic that was coated to look like metal. I didn’t have an issue with the color or quality just noted that. However, when I got the fixtures from Bowery, the Delta line I went with, I noticed they were all metal. Maybe because it’s a new release and this one has been around. Again, if I didn’t change tile I’d have kept this.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE 3 PORT AND 6 PORT T-11851 DIVERTER

Thank you for your question. The 3-Setting T11851 will allow you to divert between two components (A, AB, B). The 6-Setting T11951 will allow you to divert between three components (A, AB, B, BC, C, CA).

Can I use a showerhead, handheld showerhead, and a body sprayer?
Can I use a shower-head, handheld shower-head, and a body sprayer with this Diverter? I have the R10000-UNBXHF rough-in.

Thank you for your question! To run three showering components you will need a 6-Setting 3-Port Diverter Trim, such as the T11951. You will also need the R11000 Diverter Rough.

I have a rough in 1016 masco valve what do I need for diverter and shut off temp valve to finish shower that goes to shower head on wall and seperate on ceiling head.
Thank you for your question, Mike! We only recommend using this trim with a Delta R11000 Diverter rough in body. You can connect the bottom of the R11000 diverter body, to the top of a Delta R10000-UNBX valve body. The R10000-UNBX is what would be responsible for the volume and temperature. You can use any valve trim in the 13/14,17 and 17T series, with the R10000-UNBX valve body. If you need further assistance, feel free to contact us directly.

What product color is the closest to brushed nickel - Brilliance stainless or Spotshield stainless?
I am remodeling two bathrooms. It is very important that I order the same color for my Delta Dryden faucets and associated accessories.

Will I be able to use the r10000-unbx with this? Also does everything I need come with the this product and the diverted?

Thank you for your question. The R11000 3/ 6-Setting Diverter Rough-In Valve would be the correct one to use with the Delta Dryden 3-Setting Diverter Trim T11851-RB. Yes, everything comes with the trim kit to install on the in/on the rough-in valve. The R10000-UNBX MultiChoice Universal Rough-In Valve is the main valve that is installed below the diverter valve, where your hot and cold water supplies connect.

I would like to use this with a R10000-UNBXHF valve body. My plan is to put a double body spray on one setting and standard shower head on the other. Will this handle the flow of (2) 2.5 gpm body sprays on one side, with another roughly 2 gpm on the other

Thank you for your question. The Delta T11851-RB Diverter Trim kit only works with the Delta R11000 Diverter Rough In. When installing these together, the single setting shower head on one port diverter rough in port and the two body sprays on the second port, will work.

I need a simple valve trim kit for a single head outdoor shower. This is just for rinsing off not a full shower so I do not need a diverter as I will only be using a shower head. What should I be looking for? They all seem to have diverters?

Thank you for your inquiry! If you are installing a shower only unit, you would need the Delta MultiChoice Universal Rough-In Valve R10000-UNBXHF and the Dryden Valve Trim T14051-SP or Shower Only Trim T14251-SP. These models are not designed with a diverter option.

Will this model allow both a fixed shower and hand-held shower to be on at the same time?
I will have a fixed shower head plumbed to one port, a hand held shower plumbed to a second port, and the third port will be plugged. I want an option to have both the fixed shower head and hand-held shower to be on at the same time.
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T11851-SS is a 3 setting 2 port diverter. This allows the consumer to use the showerhead by itself, the handheld showerhead by itself, or the two combined.
