RESEÑAS
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best faucet of this type that I could find Bought from Menards and installed myself a month ago, working perfectly. Initially, water would leak out of faucet for a few seconds after shutting the water off, but it corrected itself after a few days. Water from the faucet shuts off completely when sprayer is activated, so the diverter is working perfectly. I love the stainless steel finish which matches my sink. I bought all the replacement parts available right away, I know this thing will need repair within 5 years of heavy use

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This has been the worst decision ever to install I just called Delta customer service to obtain parts to fix this. Nothing was resolved and they now need photos before they can send me parts because they want proof of the leak.. The faucet leaked from the factory house crimp where it connects at the center of the escutcheon. This caused a lot of damage including my cabinet bottom.. All I wanted was some replacement parts and I now need to call back with photos and to wait on hold again! I will not forget this experience!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap interior parts. Loose handle after 6 months I installed this faucet 6 months ago. The Cold Water handle is now loose at the top, and there is no way to tighten it. It wobbles so much that I am fearful it will break off, soon. I am extremely disappointed because I thought Delta had a good reputation and I paid a lot of money for this faucet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice! We looked at a lot of faucets, this one stood out the best. Really like the sprayer, puts out water real good, with hole opening with hole opening larger than competitors.Faucet even has a strainer gasket in it. Which should be removed, and replaced, not hard to do.When first running water through faucet for first time. Installing faucet, and water lines was simple.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Customer support Bought our faucet 2 days ago. It leaks on each side and water slows but doesn't shut off properly. Just called Delta and they are shipping new Stem Units, seats & springs for each side. It appears parts may dry out sitting on the shelf. So we don't have to return it. We like it and it looks good but we replaced another faucet that was leaking. Looking forward to getting this fixed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Purchased 2 days ago, sprayer leaks out of the box I bought and installed this 2 days ago. I have to agree with 2 of the other reviewers: the side sprayer connect hose leaks when it is used. I thought the connector was missing a part, but from other pics it looks like it is not. It has better pressure than our previous faucet and we are happy about that. However, we cannot afford to have a faucet that leaks constantly. Waiting to see what Delta will do about it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality I bought this faucet to replace another brand. I had issues with that faucet / brand. I am pleased with the quality and ease of installation. This faucet appears to have great quality.

does this faucet have an aerator that can be removed for cleanng?

Asked by: Ronnie
Thank you for your question, Ronnie! The aerator on this model is removable for cleaning by turning it counter-clockwise. We do not recommend taking all of the internal component out as simply pouring a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water through the aerator should help break up any mineral buildup. https://media.deltafaucet.com/PartsDiagram/DPD-K-21712LF_A.pdf Best regards, Edward

I just bought & installed the Emmett 2 handle Kitchen Faucet. Whenever we turn the handles (both hot & cold) to anywhere past mid-way it produces a high pitched sound.  Prior sink never did this.  Is this normal on this faucet or is something wrong?

Asked by: NewHome21
Hello NewHome21! Thank you for your question and we are happy to help. We apologize for this information not being readily available to you. We recommend flushing the valves of the Delta Faucet Emmett® Two Handle Kitchen Faucet With Spray In Spotshield Stainless MODEL#: 21742LF-SP. Please follow the directions below to flush the valves: Start with the easy stuff: Remove your aerator, wand or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed. If the flow is good, the piece you’ve removed is where the issue is.  Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow.   If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet. Next, check the supply lines for debris: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines.  Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water.  Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside of a bucket.  Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. Since the handle was left in the on position, the water will flow up the cold supply line, through the faucet cartridge and back down the hot water line into the bucket. Leave this flowing for at least 30 seconds. After flushing, reconnect the hot water line and repeat this process with the cold-water line to ensure all particles have been removed from both supplies. With any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us directly. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. Best Regards, Carrie
