Rated 4 out of 5 by from Laundry Room This faucet in the polished nickel is just gorgeous and looks great in my laundry room with the farmhouse sink. The water pressure/sprayer is powerful. I have had this faucet for 5 yrs now. The reason that I am not giving it 5 starts, is because after pulling the faucet head out all these years to spray down the sink, it is difficult and cumbersome to put the nozzle back in place. Sometimes there's a gap 'cause it's too hard to put back all the way. Building a new house so not sure yet if I'll put this one in the new laundry room because of this one issue.

I bought this Delta Cassidy pull out sprayer faucet in 2018. and felt in love but two weeks ago the water pressure was vey low making impossible to use it. The plumber just left and said it's clogged and he does not want to try to fix bc it will break. This faucet is not "lifetime of Reliable Performance or self cleaning. It is too expensive in order to be replaced every 5 years!

When I found the Delta Cassidey it was love at first sight. After 8 years of loyal service, my faucet began to spray water, imagine my delight when I discovered Delta's unbelievable lifetime warranty. Delta helped me verify my model number and color, they shipped it immediately and it did not cost me a cent. Delta customer service is top notch.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Buyer's remorse is setting in I had installed a high arc faucet (polished nickel, spot shield, Spray Shield, magnetize docking), but it was too close to the window sill. The Arctic Stainless finish has a noticeable texture that looks cheap and actually feels rough. The sprayer is hard to pull out and has to be shoved back in. The handle seems to be in an awkward position to reach, and seems small relative to the very large faucet. There's a decorative knob at the back that makes it hard to clean behind the faucet. Might work better is an island installation. Finally, it is twice as expensive as the first Delta faucet I bought, which had a nicer finish and more features.

We picked this one because it is a little lower in height than other models but are not 100% satisfied due to the fact that you have to remember to really push it in every time you use The spray feature.

We ordered this from build.com after canceling our order with a large retailer because of delays. Build.com got it to us within a few days of our order!

We had a problem as there is a pull in window right over the sink so we were limited on faucets, they couldn't be too high. Delta helped me find this one and I am over the moon. Hot/Cold lever seems backward

We just built our new home and had this faucet installed. I love the classy look and cross handles we chose; however the lever that controls the hot and cold seems backwards to me. When it is lying down toward me, I can see the letter "C". I would assume this means "Cold" but when I turn it on in that position the water is hot. Vice versa the other way. My husband checked the water lines and they are connected blue to cold and red to hot so that is not the issue. Is this just how the lever is designed?

I'm very interested in your model # 4197 PN-DST in Polished nickel. According to the little youtube video on this page, this model comes in 4 colors and the polished nickel is NOT one of them. So is the video correct, or can I order it in Polished Nickel?

on CASSIDY 4197-C2-DST , how do you replace the valve cylinder, once you have the handle removed? what holds the valve in place? Any special tools needed?

Once the handle of the Delta Cassidy Pull-Out Kitchen 4197-CZ-DST faucet is removed, you would remove the cap and unscrew the bonnet nut from around the the valve cartridge. Is there a larger size escutcheon available for this model?

I am mounting this faucet on a vintage cast sink with previously a 3 hole mount faucet. The area has some discoloration I am trying to cover. I purchased a RP714545 escutcheon but it is a little short for the coverage area I need. Is there a larger one that is compatible?

We installed a Cassidy faucet it our Kitchen and love the color (Chrome) however it is very difficult to pull out the sprayer and return it??? Can you give me some things to check, I really don't want to return it, I just want it to function correctly.

I have the same problem. I can’t put the handle back into the base all the way without shoving it in and same with pulling it out. This is a very expensive faucet and should work better than this. I have settled with it being put only part way in because I’m afraid all the pressure will break the faucet. Now it looks dumb.
