I had several issues with this faucet: 1. it ate batteries like crazy; 2. the magnets rusted out; 3. the touch feature finally stopped working; 4. and now the mounting base and screw rod completely rusted out and broke. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Set and Forget This kitchen faucet is the "touch" type. My husband insisted on being technologically forward, so I went ahead and purchased this. It has taken a little bit of getting used to, but, all in all, it is an adequate faucet for my daily needs. The water stream seems to come from different places on the faucet head depending on when I use it. It's not a bothersome feature, just one that leads me to ask the question, "Why?" It does work as advertised. Touching the faucet with the back of my hand or grabbing the handle turns the faucet on and off. Grabbing the faucet will not. This is pretty sophisticated engineering from my perspective, and I am very satisfied with it. The only reason that I gave this 4 stars rather than 5 is the fact that one must "set" the faucet handle in order to use the touch feature. I don't know how this can be engineered differently, and I think I would have been just as happy with this faucet if it were operated only by the handle.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great customer service This Cassidy faucet came with a newly remodeled home we purchased so likely a brand new faucet. After nearly 6 years, the head of the hose would not spring back into position and was just hanging. I called Cust Svc and did not have to wait long on hold. They sent me a new part that was easy to install and problem solved. About a year later, the touch feature was not working right. Sometimes touching would not turn on. We changed the batteries but still having trouble. I called Cust service again and they walked me through disconnecting the sensor box under the sink and are sending me a new one. In the meantime, I can use the sauce without it. Very happy that they were so helpful, I didn't have to wait on hold at all, and are sending free replacement parts. The 4 star is for the device having so many issues. But they make up for it by having great Cust service. and free replacement parts.

Our faucet has many issues, but the latest is... When we turn it off via the touch feature, it take about 5-30 seconds to shut off. It just Very Slowly decreases pressure until it is off. How can I fix this? (I already changed the batteries)

Hi, Charlie! Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a leak from your Delta faucet. I am happy to help you. Leaking from the faucet in the touch off mode comes from debris inside the solenoid. You may flush the solenoid by following these next steps. 1. Turn the water supply by putting your handle in the manual off position. 2. Disconnect the sprayer hose by removing the blue retaining clip. 3. Place a bucket under the male adapter coming out from the solenoid. 4. Run water into the bucket for 2-3 minutes. can you bypass the electronic operation and just do manual operation?

Hi, Ruwe! Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your Delta faucet. We recommend to reset the LED light wire and battery pack. To do this, disconnect the LED light wire from the solenoid. Disconnect the battery pack. Wait a full minute. While you are waiting a full minute, you can check batteries and see if they are in good condition, even try new batteries. Make sure they're all in the correct direction and tightly secured in the battery pack. After a full minute, reconnect the LED light wire into the solenoid and then reconnect the battery pack. Wait another full minute. After the full minute, you can then check your faucet and see if you are getting a blue light, if not please contact our Delta Customer Service line at (800)345-3358. Where is the reset button

Aerator part number for 9197T-RB-DST I need a new aerator

If an aerator is needed, we recommend replacing the whole sprayer assembly. The sprayer assembly is part number RP72680RB or RP90839RB with ShieldSpray Technology Spray Setting. I am having this faucet (9197T-DST) installed right now by a plumber who is telling me it isn't good that I ordered it from Home Depot as it isn't as good a product as ordering it directly from a plumbing supply place (or letting him order it). True?

Is this really made of or with nickel or it simply the name of the coat? We have a physical allergy to nickel in this household and though I'm sure they would love to avoid doing dishes, I'd like to avoid them from NOT having to do dishes.

I installed the faucet and everything works. However, when the water gets hot the faucet turns off. I can only get warm water at best. The light on the faucet remains blue when using.

The facet is 3 months old and leaks through the nozzle when the handle is turned on and the touchless is turned off. It does not leak when the handle is off.

Hi LAC1, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. Here is what we can do to resolve your issue for you. Our Delta Faucet Cassidy&trade; Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet With Touch2O&reg; And ShieldSpray&reg; Technologies In Venetian Bronze MODEL#: 9197T-RB-DST would need to be flushed, debris can cause the solenoid not to open and close properly. We would recommend flushing the unit, please see the instructions below. I would like you to keep the handle in the center full-on position, then remove the wand. Hold the hose, so it does not fall back into the faucet, then point the hose into the sink. Next, I would like you to turn the faucet on by touch for 40 seconds. Then shut the faucet off by touch and back on for another 40 seconds. Then hold the handle and move it off and then back on without letting go for another 40 seconds. Once this has been done, please re-install the wand and check for leaking. Next, check the supply lines for debris: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside a bucket. Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. How do you change the battery? My faucet is only six months old and won't turn on at all. There's a red line which I believe is dead battery. I didn't realize that the water won't manually turn o. With a dead battery. Is this normal?

We have just purchased a 9197-RB-DST and a 9197T-RB-DST and we find they are different in dimensions? The outlet angle of the non-touch one (about 20 degrees from vertical) is different from the outlet angle of the touch one (straight down vertically)
