For the price, it should last longer than the disposable Home Depot $50 faucets. But no, it does not. I have to purchase a $60 part to get it working. So, avoid this, unless you’re ok with spending $60 evrey 18 months😒

The booklet provided with the faucet was for a different model. Now I’m trying to find the part number to order the Valve Cartridge… but not even the website shows me the part. I love Delta and have many of their products in my home….and haven’t had any issues before now.

Tapping on and off is a great convenience and the wire under the sink is almost long enough to install the battery pack at the front of my cabinet for ease of changing batteries.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Water spills all over the place This was installed by the builder in my new home and unfortunately, whenever I open the tap, water spills all over the place on the countertop around the sink. When spoken to the builder, they replied that is how this product works. I had a Moen kitchen faucet in my earlier home, never had this issue and the water flow was much smoother. I definitely wouldn't recommend this product.

We had the gas company come to check the hot water heater, but it's working fine and the other faucets in the house don't have any issue with hot water. We live in a place where plumbers are scarce and they don't want to deal with small issues. (We've tried.) Any thoughts on what's happening?

I’ve done my best to remove the handle and clean/grease the mechanism, but it is stuck and grinding with every use. The price should warrant better craftsmanship/quality.

When the faucet broke, it was replaced with the Delta Essa and I love it. The new custom home that we just moved into has 2 of these faucets: one in the kitchen and one in the laundry room The builder was pushing Kohler but I put my foot down and insisted on the faucet(s) that I knew I loved. I'm very happy that I won that argument.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Odd angle I just had this faucet installed a few days ago. It looks beautiful and has strong water pressure. I like that it has two simple options: spray or stream. The faucet head stays locked in place well. My problem is with the angle of the water flow. I have a decent size sink—16 inches front to back, much wider left to right—and yet because the water shoots forward so far, it almost hits the front edge of my sink when it’s turned on all the way. I’m finding it awkward to wash dishes. I’m disappointed, since I paid money to have this faucet installed. I’m really trying to like it, but it doesn’t feel very functional.

Need 2nd person to hold faucet while screwing nuts under sink. I love it! The water pressure is much higher, sprayer has regular and spray feature, and I eliminated old separate cheap sprayer, covered with matching sink hole cap. Solid, and looks really nice with brushed finish.

Handle is loose on side of faucet. How do you tighten the handle?

how long is the hose? Is there any reason not to use this faucet at the main kitchen sink?

Smaller bar / prep or reverse osmosis designer faucet in the Essa line?

We have the Essa Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet with Touch2O Technology (9113T-AR-DST) in our kitchen and ordered the matching Essa Single Handle Pull-down Bar/Prep Faucet (9913-AR-DST) - which arrived today and appears to be the same size as the kitchen faucet - is it supposed to be? We assumed the Bar/Prep faucet would be significantly smaller. If it is the same size as the kitchen faucet do you make a smaller bar / prep or reverse osmosis designer faucet in the Essa line or have a recommendation for something that would match?

Hi Djb, Thank you for your question! The bar version of the Essa should be smaller than the kitchen version. The 9113T- Spout length is 9-1/4". The spout height is 15-3/4 and the spout height from the deck the the aerator is 8-5/8". On the bar version the 9913 Spout length is 6-5" The spout height is 14" and the spout height deck to aerator is 7-5/8". There is nothing smaller than the bar version for the Essa collection. How do you remove the aerator to clean it out if it gets plugged with debris?

Is the only difference between the Essa Single Handle Bar/Prep faucet and the larger kitchen version size?

Does the Bar/prep version have hot and cold water? I'd like to use this as my kitchen sink faucet ( small sink in an efficiency apartment).

Does this faucet have shieldspray technology? If not, are there any plans to introduce shieldspray to this model and what would be the estimated time frame?

At this time, we do not currently have plans for this to have ShieldSpray Technology but we do encourage you to check back at a later time to see if there's a change for this in the future.
