For the price, it should last longer than the disposable Home Depot $50 faucets. But no, it does not. I have to purchase a $60 part to get it working. The booklet provided with the faucet was for a different model. Now I’m trying to find the part number to order the Valve Cartridge… but not even the website shows me the part. I love Delta and have many of their products in my home….and haven’t had any issues before now.

When spoken to the builder, they replied that is how this product works. I had a Moen kitchen faucet in my earlier home, never had this issue and the water flow was much smoother. I definitely wouldn't recommend this product.

We had the gas company come to check the hot water heater, but it's working fine and the other faucets in the house don't have any issue with hot water. We live in a place where plumbers are scarce and they don't want to deal with small issues. (We've tried.) Any thoughts on what's happening?

I’ve done my best to remove the handle and clean/grease the mechanism, but it is stuck and grinding with every use. The price should warrant better craftsmanship/quality.

When the faucet broke, it was replaced with the Delta Essa and I love it. The new custom home that we just moved into has 2 of these faucets: one in the kitchen and one in the laundry room The builder was pushing Kohler but I put my foot down and insisted on the faucet(s) that I knew I loved. I'm very happy that I won that argument.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Odd angle I just had this faucet installed a few days ago. It looks beautiful and has strong water pressure. I like that it has two simple options: spray or stream. The faucet head stays locked in place well. My problem is with the angle of the water flow. I have a decent size sink—16 inches front to back, much wider left to right—and yet because the water shoots forward so far, it almost hits the front edge of my sink when it’s turned on all the way. I’m finding it awkward to wash dishes. I’m disappointed, since I paid money to have this faucet installed. I’m really trying to like it, but it doesn’t feel very functional.

Need 2nd person to hold faucet while screwing nuts under sink. I love it! The water pressure is much higher, sprayer has regular and spray feature, and I eliminated old separate cheap sprayer, covered with matching sink hole cap. Solid, and looks really nice with brushed finish.

What is the diameter of the base? What is the diameter of the spout tube?

The base is loose on the marble countertop, causing the handle to rotate when used. What wrench tool can I use to tighten it? I will have to reach it from underneath the sink. I do not have the tightening tool that came with it. Can I use sealant?

The RP60924 wrench that was included with your model is recommended however an adjustable wrench will also work to tighten the mount nut and bracket below the counter. We do not recommend applying sealant as this could make future repairs difficult. hot/cold? and direction

Does this bar faucet dispense hot and cold water? Does the lever only go in one direction or does pulling forward give hot water and pushing backwards give cold water ? Thank you!

Does this bar faucet swivel side to side in case you need to push it out of the way to make more room in your sink for a taller item? Also do you have to keep the button pressed down in order to keep it on a different spray mode?

Can the Essa bar prep faucet be used as a cold water faucet only connected to an under sink water filter? The water filter is not an RO type.

We would recommend a beverage faucet as they have only one supply line and are designed to be a cold water dispenser only. Whats the difference between a kitchen faucet and a prep faucet??

Hello Home Owner, the difference between the Delta Essa kitchen and bar/prep faucets is the height and reach of the spout assemblies. Have just installed this faucet and it is putting out about a quart a minute. I have checked the screen in the nozzle and it appear totally clean. Other faucets in the house work just fine with flow several times the new faucet. What can I do?

Hello SteveHurley, Thank you for your inquiry! Most issues with low flow, such as yours, are due to some kind of debris entering the faucet from your water line, which can cause noises as the debris moves, or cause low or sporadic flow as the water continues to move the debris around. We would advise flushing the valve body and Innoflex PEX lines of the Delta Essa Pull-Down Bar/Prep 9913-DST faucet. To flush out the valve body, so that these parts do last as long as possible, please first turn off the water supply to the faucet. Gather an adjustable wrench, some towels and a bucket. Disconnect the hot side Innoflex line. Move the handle to the full on position, middle temp. Point the hot side Innoflex line into a bucket. Turn on the cold supply valve full. Let a gallon or two flow into the bucket. Shut off cold supply. Check bucket for debris. If no debris, empty bucket and run one more time. Move handle to off position. Reattach hot side line. Turn on both water supply valves. Best regards, Tanya
