RESEÑAS
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good shower head. A little hard to install It's a really nice shower head! I don't have a ton of use for it right now and it's a little hard to install but over all I like it. I will say it's probably the prettiest shower head I've had for a hot minute
Date published: 2024-04-14
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sleek/lightweight It's great! Easy installation, I appreciate how light the shower head is while also being made of quality materials that so far (3 months) have been really easy to keep clean. It has a sleek look and I like that the showerhead detaches from the base and you can choose to have water come out of the base or shower head or both at the same time. It's a higher pressure than my old one so I have noticed that the hot water doesn't last as long (but that is due to having a small water heater) overall I would recommend if you are looking for a nice shower/bath setup

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much needed replacement I've been in the market for a new showerhead and this exceeds my expectations! I am enjoying the full spray of the leather showerhead and the ease of cleaning off hard water build up. While this is a complete kit, the tub part requires an invasive installation so I'll save the parts for when I remodel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful finish & water pressure! I’ve been using this is my shower for about 2 weeks now & it has been the best replacement for my old shower head!! I only had one standard setting on my old one, and it felt too strong when I put my face underneath but the Delta showerhead has multiple settings so it feels so much nicer on my skin. I truly love it & recommend it for anyone looking to make a switch :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful set! This shower head, spout, and handle are gorgeously designed. I loved the brushed nickel color! I had some trouble installing the new handle and spout but it wasn’t due to issues with instructions. My showers needed a little extra prep work. The shower head was easy to install and I love it. Great way to update your bathroom!

I bought this in matte black and would like to get a Delta tub trim kit (drain and overflow plate) in matte black. I can’t seem to find it anywhere. Does Delta make such a kit? Seems crazy not to offer it.

Asked by: LADB
Hi LADB, Thank you for your question! Unfortunately, we don't currently carry a bath waste assembly in matte black. I apologize for the inconvenience this causes. Our closest match would be RP693RB in Venetian bronze. Please reach out with any additional questions! Best Regards, Bryan Digital Communications Specialist

Does teh Larkin have any plastic parts?

Asked by: Karen Wood
Hi Karen, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 144890-BL-I. Nonmetallic parts are used to ensure a long-lasting, high-quality product while maintaining safety control for the various temperatures of water that go through the product. With any hand shower, for example, the part of the faucet that you would grab onto is typically made of plastic or a plastic mixture, as metal is heavier, susceptible to corrosion and retains heat. Please contact us directly if you have any additional questions! Best Regards, Bryan Digital Communications Specialist

How can I identify the multichoice valve? My new home has a Delta tub/shower combo that looks like this one but in a different finish that I want to change. Are there identifying marks that I can use to ID the valve that's installed?

Asked by: bcart82
Hello bcart82, Thank you for your question. We are happy to help! A good way to identify if you have a Delta Faucet R10000 MultiChoice valve installed is to look at the valve cartridge. Pre-MultiChoice valves used RP19804, and MultiChoice valves use RP46074. https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts/product/RP19804.html https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts/product/RP46074.html Your cartridge may look a little different, but the top half of the MulitChoice cartridge will be gray and the top half of the pre-MultiChoice cartridge will be white. The legs of the cartridges are also different. Best regards, Bryan

Hi DNolan, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 144890-I. How do you adjust the rotational limit on the water temperature handle

Asked by: Sarah
Dear Sarah, Thank you for your question! I will be more than happy to help you! To adjust a 1400 series cartridge, please remove the handle and sleeve. Once these parts are off, you will see a brass stem with a white plastic piece surrounding the brass part. Pull this piece towards you and rotate counter clockwise for hotter water and clockwise for colder water. **Please keep in mind, rotating this could change the temperatures 4-16 degrees farenheight each notch.** Please refer to the link below on page 9, with a # 4 in the black box. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/107528%20Rev%20D.pdf Feel free to contact us directly, if you need further assistance. Hi I have the following: Larkin™ Monitor® 14 Series Tub & Shower W In2ition In Chrome. My water pressure is not acceptable. Does this shower head have a water limiter to save water? If so, I want instructions on how to remove it. Thank you, Kerry

Asked by: KerryV
Hi KerryV, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. Here is what we can do to resolve your issue for you. Our Delta Faucet Larkin™ Monitor® 14 Series Tub & Shower With In2ition® In Chrome MODEL#: 144890-I has a maximum flow rate of 1.75 GPM @ 80 psi if you are getting lower than the normal flow rate we would recommend flushing the unit. Please see the step-by-step instructions below. To flush the open valve without the cartridge, please follow the directions below. 1) Remove the handle by loosening the set screw on the side of the base of the handle. The set screw is either a 1/8" or 3/32" Allen screw. So you will need to use the appropriate size Allen wrench to loosen it. Loosen it just enough to be able to easily pull the handle off. * Note. If there is calcium build-up at the base of the handle, it may be necessary to soak it in a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water. Simply saturate the rag with the 50/50 solution, wrap it around the handle base and place a plastic bag over it. I would recommend doing this the night before removing the handle. 2) After removing the handle, remove the trim sleeve. 3) Then you will need to remove the bonnet nut. The bonnet nut is the threaded ring at the valve opening. It unscrews counterclockwise. You will need a pipe wrench or a pair of channel locks. 4) After removing the bonnet nut, you will need to pull the cartridge straight out. You may need a small, skinny bladed screwdriver to wedge in between the lip of the cartridge and the valve to help start it out. 5) Once the cartridge is removed, you will have an open valve body. 6) Next, shut the shower door or curtain and turn the water on to the valve. Water should gush out, much like an open fire hydrant. Have someone observe if there is good water pressure coming out of the valve and let it flush for 30 seconds. 7) Re-install the cartridge and re-assemble in reverse of how it was disassembled. The Tub/Shower should then have a good flow. If it does not, the cartridge will need to be replaced. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. We appreciate your business and look forward to continuing to serve you. Please contact us back with any further questions. Best Regards, Nicole

Hello, I had this set installed (new shower no tub costco purchase ) the shower control only seems to move 1/4 turn giving little hot water. Should it turn more and if so, how?

Asked by: mike k
Hi mike k, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! We apologize for the inconvenience you are experiencing and we are happy to help! Our cartridges have a built-in scald protector, and we ship our cartridges already set in the middle range to avoid scalding as water heater temperatures can vary. To fix this, you would need to rotate the "Rotational Limit Stop" on the tip of the cartridge. Please refer to the instructions and the link below! Please refer to page 12 box B: https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/107528%20Rev%20G.pdf You shouldn't need to shut your water off but keep in mind it is still possible for the water to turn on if the stem is rotated. Please gather 1/8" allen wrench for a lever handle and a philips screwdriver for a knob handle. 1. Remove your handle with your 1/8" allen wrench. The set screw should be under the lever of the handle. If you have a knob, please remove the cap on the tip of the handle. You will need a philips head screwdriver to remove the screw. 2. Pull the sleeve assembly off of the valve. This is the cylindrical part behind your handle that hides the valve body. 3. You will see a brass stem and a plastic white piece on the tip of the cartridge. The white piece has notches on it to grip it more easily. 4. Please pull the white piece towards you and rotate counter-clockwise for hotter water. *Please note there is a limit of how far this will rotate, if you rotate to the hottest setting it will be the same temperature as your water heater. This is not recommended as it can cause scalding. Please also note that each notch you rotate to can range anywhere between 4 and 16 degrees Fahrenheit.* Now you can install your sleeve and your handle onto your valve. Turn your water on and see if this is your desired temperature. If it is, tighten the set screw or the screw, and the temperature adjustment on the cartridge is done! We appreciate your inquiry. Please reach out directly if you have further questions! Best Regards, Kyra Digital Communications Specialist

Model 144890-SP-I The spout has threads measuring over 1 inch in diameter.  It is supposed to connect to a 1/2 inch pipe. Am I missing an adapter? How can I get it.

Asked by: Mark
The real answer was that I was missing a part. The spout that came in the box had a 1” diameter threaded opening that would not fit my 1/2 “ threaded pipe. It should have had an adapter with it so I could connect to my 1/2” pipe nipple. Contacted Delta and they are sending the adapter.
