Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaks from shower head I just installed this and part of the water is diverted from the tub spout to the shower head. When I direct the water to the shower head, the tub spout seals as it should. It takes a long time to fill the bath tub when part of the water is diverted away from the tub spout. The installation instructions were not the best.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great look but missing tub parts Love the look of the faucet except the tub spout appears to be missing a part. The old tub spout just unscrewed from the brass adapter that is soldered to the copper pipe coming out of the wall. There is no way this spout will fit onto the adapter since there is no piece inside the new spout to screw onto the adapter. There are threads deep inside the new spout so now I have to call a plumber to get this installed or just return it to save money. I don't know why a newer spout wouldn't just fit .

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No water pressure adjustment! This system in on or off! If I wasn't less pressure to wash my granddaughter or more to rinse soap out of my hair forget it! You turn it on and adjust the hotter water one direction and cooler the other. Thats it! I also have over 80 psi water press coming in. It slows it down so very much! I have their Ashley kitchen faucet with the same pressure restrictions. I actually take the head off the kitchen faucet if I need extra pressure?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great Look, has leaked since day one This tub spout looks great, however in the 3 years that I have had it installed it has leaked from the down spout. I have made sure it was installed properly and it was, Delta needs to look at the design of this product or they should discontinue it.

Increasing water pressure 144984

Need to know if 2.0 gpm cartdridge on porter 144984 can be replaced with a delta cartridge with 2.5 gpm or more. Pressure is coming into home is not the issue, we have high pressure on other faucets/sinks in home. Thanks.

Hi Mavman70, Thank you for your question. The cartridge in the model 144984 is rated at higher than 2.0 gpm. It is the showerhead itself that is rated at the 2 gallons per minute flow rate. You can switch out the showerhead to one with a greater flow rate. The connection is a standard 1/2" pipe connection. Thanks, Dave

Hello We have a newly installed Series 13/14 unit. The single lever handle is easy to bump (small shower) resulting in large change in temperature. Will your round transparent (glass?) type handles or 4 spoke handles fit? Part number? thanks

Hello Kenneth, Thank you for your inquiry! Yes, any of the Delta shower handles that start with H7 will work with the Delta Porter Tub and Shower 144984 model. The crystal knob for a 13/14 Series model would be H71 and the cross handle options are H36 or H77 are available. Best regards, Tanya

Rough-in Valve

Is the rough-in valve that came with this faucet compatible with the Leland Trim (Delta T14478-LHP Leland )?

Have 1/2" copper line coming out for the tub spout like the directions say. Per instructions what Is the o-ring and what is the adapter? As far as I can tell these parts did not come with this product which I purchased.

Hi, Adam! Thank you for your question. The Delta RP47841 tub spout assembly that is included with the Delta Monitor 144984 Trim Kit does not come with an adapter assembly. This is designed to thread into the nose only. Can someone post a link to the spout instructions. It said for spout installation refer to the instructions that came with the spout but mine did not come with any spout specific spout instructions.

What size hole saw will I need for shower wall

From what I see in the instructions it looks like the porter tub spout could work with a copper sweat installation, but it looks the only way this will work is for me to extent my pipe out to about 4 inches and then screw on. Am I missing something?
