Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tub spout missing parts ? I bought the shower faucet for one shower only bathroom and like it. So we bought this one to replace and existing Delta shower parts. Well everything is fine except the tub spout. The old tub spout just unscrewed from the brass adapter that is soldered to the copper pipe coming out of the wall. There is no way this spout will fit onto the adapter cause there is no piece inside the new spout to screw onto the adapter. There are threads deep inside the new spout so now I have to call a plumber to get this installed or just return it to save money. I don't know why a newer spout wouldn't just fit .

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Design, Awful Instructions, Missing Parts-BAD After carefully choosing this faucet from the 40+ others at my local home improvement store, spending nearly $200 on this faucet and going through the installation process, this will be my last Delta product. First, there were parts that were missing from this kit, according to the instruction manual specific steps mention parts that were just not present - I even downloaded another manual from the website; it was the same as the one I had. After returning this faucet for another identical faucet, and yet for another faucet, both were missing these parts too, the third faucet was also incomplete (despite all 3 kits being factory sealed with straps and factory labels). I had to procure the extra parts from a plumbing store to compete the job. I should have chosen another brand before starting the installation but I was convinced that this faucet would be my best choice, given the price paid and Delta name . . . wrong. Further, the main manual is poorly written and has equally poor photos; some manuals you can get by with the written instructions or photos, but not this one! The manual kept referring me to the shower head and tub spout manuals - all which were NOT included - nor in any of the other kits either. The manual refers to the shower head and tub spouts as if they are other parts that would be added later as an option . . . these parts are all included in the same box! After getting the entire faucet kit installed and working, I became concerned about the tub spout being installed without any protection between the fluted back of the spout and the wall - water will certainly get into that space as well as the gap/hole underneath the spout and leak behind the wall. I called the Delta help center to inquire about a tub spout spacer or tub spout ring. Apparently there is no such part available and the official suggestion from delta is to caulk it . . . Really? How the heck do you caulk a 3/4" hole underneath the spout? The official fix from Delta is to put caulking around the tub spout. A $200 screw on tub spout that gets caulked on the outside of a flanged brushed nickel spout? That is going to look fabulous . . . and it certainly is going to be easy to replace any gasket in the future! NOT! It was quite an ordeal to install this faucet in general, (extra trips to exchange product, buying parts that were missing, interpreting poor instructions) however, I will be replacing this entire faucet with another brand and returning this faucet for a refund. Stay away from this faucet. Choose another brand - you will be glad you did!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible faucet This was installed a week ago, the faucet continued to drip constantly. Then suddenly began spouting enormous amounts of water. It was taken apart and found that the seat blew out. Put it back together, leak continued and within two days the seat blew out again. I don't even know how this is possible. The faucet is brand new and is unusable

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fourth delta I have three shower valves that all are the delta porter brushed nickle. They are a nice product. Just got a fourth, this one is the bronze porter. It is not installed yet. Water spots I have noticed though on the brushed nickle. I have a water softner and wipe all water after each use. I saw another person mention this to issue too.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the best Don't remember when we installed this - sometime in the last 5-6 years. The spout started leaking early this year when the diverter is pulled up for the shower. It has got progressively worse and now we have as much water leaking from the spout as going up to the shower. My other bathroom has had a Moen for over 15 years and works fine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Quality I bought this product since I have always had high performance with Delta products and replacement parts. Unfortunately, with this model, it spots very easily since we have hard well water. Also, I expected more water pressure with a larger shower head. Not so. Apparently, with clean water consumption regulations, it is only a 2.0 psi and not that great. more like a gentle rain shower. like the heavy quality and basic operation of hot and cold. has a hot water adjustment, so you can set it higher than normal.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent product, but they don't make 'em like they used to. When I purchased my house twenty years ago, it had Delta faucets throughout. It's time to remodel, so we decided to stick with Delta. Delta is still a better than average brand, but the newer designed faucets are nowhere near the quality of the older ones. This is just a sign of the times. The actual problem I am having is that I replaced the old shower valve with the new one that came with this faucet. The valve assembly sticks out almost a full inch further than the old one. This makes the center trim sleeve an inch too short. I hope delta has an answer to this other than tear the wall apart and recess/replumb the valve.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install. Easy to install. Sweat your copper fittings in small sections and then thread them onto the faucet section. Make final sweat joints after threaded to keep heat low. The directions are easy to understand.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from No pressure and quite loud Sadly now that the unit is installed I'm less than satisfied with the pressure output of the unit. The pressure is far less than the 80's generation tap set I replaced. Also the water creates much more noise than the old unit. With the unit set for max pressure there's not enough heat and if turning the control slightly left of 90* you get plenty of heat but no pressure. If Delta has a retrofit control unit to remove the heat protection function I trust this would a be the unit I was hoping to get.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very low water pressure You do not want this unit if yall like water pressure; Nicely designed unit but with low pressure, says its 2.0 GPM but unable to git that much in a minute. Contacted delta to see if they offer a diferent cartidge fer this model to git more pressure from shower head. The water pressure is so low comin out that the water looks like like a sprinkler you use in your garden. It does have three setings but the main setin se use is the one with all holes shootin out. But it is a very well designed unit and great apperance.
