To flush the system remove the aerator using the supplied wrench and turn the faucet handles to the full on mixed position. Turn on hot and cold water supplies and flush water lines for one minute. This flushes away any debris that could cause damage to internal parts. Verify the seal is attached to aerator then reinstall. WaterSense® labeled faucet uses at least 20% less water than the industry standard without compromising performance, this is a feature that cannot be removed. Please reach out with further questions! Our Delta Faucet Chamberlain™ Two Handle Centerset Bathroom Faucet In Chrome MODEL#: 25747LF aerator can be removed by using the included aerator wrench and soaked in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water. We would also recommend flushing the faucet, I have included the instructions on flushing below. Please shut water supplies off before starting this process. You will need a 1/8” Allen wrench, a towel, and a bucket. Please remove your handle with the 1/8" Allen wrench, then pull the handle off of the stem unit. You will now see a bonnet nut, please remove it with your wrench. Please take note of how your stem units are installed in the valve. Please lift straight up to pull the stem units out and If you look into the valve, you should see a seat and spring. Please pull these pieces out before we flush. Next place the towel behind the back of the faucet, then put the bucket over the top of the towel. Have someone turn the cold water supply on for about 30 seconds to a minute. After this, shut the cold water off and move the bucket and towel to the hot side, flush that out as well. Lastly, remove the aerator and soak with a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water for about 15 minutes, and make sure to rinse the aerator off with water when completed.
