Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replaced my 45 yo similar Deltas with these. My old faucets worked great for 45 years and finally failed at the joint where body and supply line meets internally. I hope these somewhat lighter weight and less expensive feeling faucets will hold up as long. We bought our home in 1978 while it was being built, so I know what has been done to it. Out of five bathroom Delta faucets, this was only the second one to fail, and both were at the same area inside. I am happy with the life they have given.

Easy to install and we have enjoyed the ease of the movement of the knobs.. Bought 2 of them! No problems after having for 3 months. Definitely would recommend. Nothing fancy- just practical.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easiest Working Faucet I’ve Ever Had This faucet works so easily that you don’t need much strength in your fingers. I had to buy new flex water lines since the copper ones were welded to the old faucet. No plumbers putty or silicone is needed. The faucet comes with a good fitting gasket and all you have to do is apply plumbers tape to the threaded connections. I love it.

I need to replace the faucet handle caps for this model. I'm fairly certain this faucet is the same so the cap for this faucet might fit what I have. No one has the caps for the size faucet handle I have. I've exhausted my options. Can I buy here?

AFTER REMOVING THE KNOB HANDLE, I CAN.T GET THE HALFROUND PIECE LOOSE. I USED DW40 AND IT STILL IS STUCK. IS THERE A SPECIAL WRENCH FOR THAT?

Thank you for your question. There may be hard water mineral deposits underneath your bonnet nut. We recommend soaking a towel in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water and then wrapping it around the bonnet nut overnight to soak it. You may also try a strap wrench to loosen the deposits.

Is this available in the gold finish?

Adjust Temperature

Is there anyway to adjust the temperature from this faucet without adjusting the hot water tank? If so, how?

Hi Unclemoe8, Thank you for your question. There is no temperature adjustment in the faucet short of the handle. If you have noticed a decrease in the hot water temperature there may be some debris blocking the lines. We recommend flushing the faucet to clear the debris. DOES THIS FAUCET COME IN BRONZE?

Hello Chuck, Thanks for your question! Unfortunately, the B512LF is currently only manufactured in Chrome. The specifications for model B512LF states "Solid brass fabricated body."  Is the housing for the faucet base and sprout brass that is chrome plated?  Or is the housing non-metalic?  Also are the tubes for hot/cold water hook-up copper?

The set screw on the knob of my “foundation “ model single handle faucet is loose and so knob comes off...how do I tighten it back on the shaft?

Thank you for your question, Scuzmuffin! The knob handle for this model actually has a hidden set screw inside the knob itself. This holds an adapter to the flat side of the stem tip and just underneath the cap of the knob is a phillips head screw that attaches to the adapter.
