I love things that work well and stand the test of time, whether it's a good saddle or, in this case, a good shower. We recently put in this Delta Trinsic Monitor 17 Series shower trim, and I thought I'd share my thoughts, especially since it's the H2Okinetic one in matte black. First off, let's talk about the look. That matte black finish is something. It's got a quiet sort of elegance to it, if that makes sense. It's not flashy, but it's certainly eye-catching in its own way. It feels modern without being cold, and it blends in nicely, not just shouting for attention. You know how some things just feel right in a space? This is like that. It's sleek and clean, which is a big plus when you're trying to keep things tidy around here. Now, onto the important part: how it works. This is the Monitor 17 Series, and what that means is it's supposed to keep the water temperature steady, even if someone flushes a toilet downstairs or turns on the washing machine. And I can tell you, it truly does. There's nothing worse than a sudden blast of cold or scalding hot water when you're trying to relax after a long day in the barn. With this, it's consistent, and that's a comfort you really appreciate. It just takes one worry off your mind. But the real standout for me, and I wasn't sure about this at first, is the H2Okinetic technology. They say it makes the water feel like more, even with less water. And you know what? They're right. It's not like your typical shower spray. It's got this full, drenching feeling, like the water is wrapping around you. It's incredibly refreshing, especially when you're washing off barn dust or just trying to soothe tired muscles. It feels luxurious, but in a practical, efficient way. You turn it on, set your temperature, and you're good to go. Simple, dependable. Overall, I'd say this Delta Trinsic shower trim is a solid choice. It looks good, it performs reliably, and that H2Okinetic spray is a real game-changer. It's the kind of quality product that makes daily life a little bit easier and a little bit more comfortable. Sometimes it's the small improvements that make the biggest difference, and this is definitely one of them. If you're looking for a shower that's both stylish and truly functional, I'd recommend taking a look at this one. It's got my seal of approval.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great water pressure for thick hair! I am surprised! I have A LOT of thick curly hair. Water pressure is a MUST to get the soap out of my curls and this shower head works! It’s well built, heavy, not difficult to install, but take note that it is heavier than it looks. Also, the water that comes out is hotter than my old shower head.

It seems to be made very well, although I'm no expert, and time will tell but it feels like it is strong enough to last many years. My showers are quicker with this as well because the water comes out with more pressure than my previous one did. I have a lot of hair and it's so much faster and easier to rinse now. I'm so happy I chose this shower kit. It's perfect!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very well made!! Very durable and a beautiful finish and slim design. If feels very sturdy. My absolutely love the finish it’s shiny and does not get finger prints. The it’s very durable and heavy feels great. I had the Plummer come to install it. I need some additional work before they can complete the install it but the Plummer said it’s easy and great design. He recommended I get that same fixtures for my other bathroom. The water pressure is amazing. I’m looking forward to using this great product.

The mentions said I would have to purchase the multi choice attachment separately, but it was sent with the product! I have not gotten it installed yet as I am having a plumber do it and they are a little booked out in my area, but I am absolutely thrilled with this system. The water pressure with this is superior, and with the multichoice, you can easily switch between finishes and fittings without having to cut into your wall once you have the fitting installed. The color look is great, very high end and luxe. Love the different options on the head! Highly recommend this brand and their fittings! Multichoice is 100% the way to go!

i want to adjust my water temp whenever i want to. turn it up turn it down, is this not possible with this style trinsic.? furnishing a whole new house and would like to get all the same products for lots of reason. delta shower valves alread installed

I want to purchase the Monitor 17 Series T17259 Shower Faucet Trim plus R10000-UNBX, Compel Premium handshower (55085) and wall elbow (50560). What else do I require? I do not understand earlier response re R11000 or T11859. Do I need both?

Hello Faye, Thank you for your question. Yes, you would need the Diverter Rough-In Valve R11000 and the matching Trinsic 3-Setting Diverter Trim Kit T11859 to complete your shower installation. What does the button labeled OFF control? It shows in the picture but there is not explanation of what it does.

temperature &amp; volume control relationship

I have 2 showers with T17259 shower controls and they both work the same. If the volume control is turned down, the temperature gets colder and can't be maintained hot enough no matter what the temperature lever is set to. If the volume is set close to full on it works fine. The safety temperature limit is turned up all the way on both of these. What can be done about this?

My Trinsic shower gets very little hot water flow

Brand new shower and no one want to use it because the water doesn't get hot enough. My plumber has adjusted the cartridge as much as he can. What can I do?

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17259 contains a rotational limit stop that may need adjusting to allow more hot water to flow through the valve.
