Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poor design on weight I like the faucet itself, 3 different spray patterns and looks good, easy to install. However, the retractable hose weight is in my opinion, a very poor design. It is too light and hangs loose, therefore not pulling hose back in, nozzle just hangs, unless you feed hose back in. I thought about returning it, I still might do that, but for now, I modified the weight by taping it about 2" on the draw down part of hose to put weight on that part of hose so that it will pull hose in. On Moen & Kohler brands, you clamp weight, which is snug on hose.

Buyer Beware I posted a review about a defect in the faucet (handle constantly falls off) and you send an emails response with NO way for me to respond to it. When I try, I am told it is a DONTREPLY address. That tells me you do NOT want people to let you know of issues and that you have no REAL intent to fix them. Shame on Delta for that. Your email did me no good. I cannot repair the faucet. You need to supply the parts and a plumber. It should not be at my expense. I am not a plumber, nor a manufacturer, just a customer who plunked down hundreds of dollars to buy your faucet. How about your email with a return address?????

As soon as my wife saw it in their kitchen she said to me,, "THAT, is the faucet I want when our current one goes bad. We'll, it did go bad and as of yesterday (3-20-22) we now have a brand new Delta Stainless ShieldSpray faucet! My lovely wife is ELATED to say the least. Our (Youngest) gracious Son Andrew, is an excellent plumber and agreed to installed it for us. It's a beautiful addition to our house...and did I say my Wife loves it - as do I. I HIGHLY recommend Delta Faucets, and this one in particular.

I currently have this faucet mounted with the handle on the right side but i want to re-mount it so that the handle is on the left. Is the handle able to be adjusted so that it operates like it does when its mounted on the right side?

The handle operates by tilting away from the faucet to turn on and rotating forward to increase the temperature. Unfortunately, there is no way to reverse the movement, so if the handle is installed on the left, it will rotate backwards Best regards, Jon

How long are the individual pex supply lines that are attached to the faucet for hot and cold water? I have issues with an on-demand hot water heater and am trying to cut down on the length of run from the hot water heater to the faucet.

Thank you for your question, Frank! The Pex supply lines are 35" PEX tubes with 3/8" compression fittings. We do not make extensions for the supplies nor do we recommend cutting them as they are designed to be easily looped and the distance will make no difference in regards to the temperature of a on demand or tankless heater. If you do decide to cut the Pex supply lines please follow the instructions on page 4 carefully as any resulting damage or leak can not be covered under the warranty due to altering the product. You may need to refer to the manufacturer of the water heater as simply setting the temperature lower tends to work best. Hello, apart from the balloon spray button, when you select spray or stream, will either stay in place (on) until switched back or reset to stream once water pressure ceases? Prefer spray to stay on until switched.

We just installed this faucet and it has extremely low water pressure. Is this a feature of the faucet to conserve water or could it be defective?

Hello Denisev1, Thank you for your question. We are happy to help! The Delta 19962Z-SD-DST faucet model has a maximum flow rate of 1.8 gallons per minute at 60 psi of pressure. This faucet model would not be a watersense model with a reduced flow to conserve water. I recommend also checking the water flow with the spray head removed. Water debris may have settled in the water supply when the water was turned off installing the faucet, then the debris may have been caught in the faucet spray head. Is the shield spray intended to stay on or do you have to press & hold the button? Also, how does the magnet work, ours requires you to return the nozzle to the main faucet, there doesn't seem to be any magnetic connection.

You do have to hold the button to use the function. Delta MagnaTite® Docking uses a powerful integrated magnet to pull your faucet spray wand precisely into place and hold it there so it stays docked when not in use. We have the touch stop model but after only a few months, the faucet is now working intermittently. We have to wait up to an hour for it work again. Is this a common issue with the touch stop system?

My kitchen faucet (19962Z-SSSD-DST) leaks water inside the lower cupboards. Water seams to be coming from the main threaded housing where all 3 hoses enter the faucet itself. Can you please tell me what to do to fix this?

Hello CarP, Thank you for your question! Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you and are experiencing. Here is what we can do to resolve your issue for you. The Delta Faucet Charmaine™ Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet With Soap Dispenser And ShieldSpray, model 19962Z-SSSD-DST, is available in Stainless, but not SpotShield Stainlss. I do apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to the build-up of mineral deposits, and we recommend blotting the faucet dry after use to prevent this from happening. However, water spots and fingerprints can be easily cleaned by wiping the finish with a damp cloth. If additional cleaning is needed, we recommend using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. I bought a Delta Charmaine kitchen faucet. There is a small separate part with 4 sides of tools for faucet. My plumber / installer said this is a multi-tool for unclogging the sprayer. I need information on how this is to be used.

My hot and coldwater position seems to be off i think. The plumber installed two days ago and the handle for the c and hot is position doesnt feel right the hot water goes all the down towards the sink and the cold is positioned upright. Is this right?
