Poor design on weight
I like the faucet itself, 3 different spray patterns and looks good, easy to install. However, the retractable hose weight is in my opinion, a very poor design. It is too light and hangs loose, therefore not pulling hose back in, nozzle just hangs, unless you feed hose back in. I thought about returning it, I still might do that, but for now, I modified the weight by taping it about 2" on the draw down part of hose to put weight on that part of hose so that it will pull hose in. On Moen & Kohler brands, you clamp weight, which is snug on hose.

Sneaky Customer Support. Buyer Beware
I posted a review about a defect in the faucet (handle constantly falls off) and you send an emails response with NO way for me to respond to it. When I try, I am told it is a DONTREPLY address. That tells me you do NOT want people to let you know of issues and that you have no REAL intent to fix them. Shame on Delta for that. Your email did me no good. I cannot repair the faucet. You need to supply the parts and a plumber. It should not be at my expense. I am not a plumber, nor a manufacturer, just a customer who plunked down hundreds of dollars to buy your faucet. How about your email with a return address?????

Beautiful but ONE Major Issue
We have had our beautiful Delta faucet for a year, but the handle has fallen off, at least 20 times since we bought it, and we have to keep tightening the screw that holds it into the slot where it should be staying. :(

Best Faucets out there!
Our oldest Son and his family has had a 19962Z-SSSD-DST Delta faucet in their home for about 4 years now. As soon as my wife saw it in their kitchen she said to me,, "THAT, is the faucet I want when our current one goes bad. We'll, it did go bad and as of yesterday (3-20-22) we now have a brand new Delta Stainless ShieldSpray faucet! My lovely wife is ELATED to say the least. Our (Youngest) gracious Son Andrew, is an excellent plumber and agreed to installed it for us. It's a beautiful addition to our house...and did I say my Wife loves it - as do I. I HIGHLY recommend Delta Faucets, and this one in particular.

How can I order a replacement head for my Charmaine faucet in stainless? It is number 19962Z-SSSD-DST.
When I open the Wand Assembly-ShieldSpray there's a filter with a screen you can remove in the aerator. How do I get a new one. It's a hassle to always remove and clean so water pressure can be strong. This is my model number: MODEL#: 19962Z-SSSD-DST

I am disappointed with the limited hot water flow available from this faucet and its RP73000 valve cartridge. Is there a replacement valve cartridge that empowers the homeowner to adjust the hot/cold balance?

Our Delta 19962Z-SSSD-DST does not have a cartridge that can adjust the hot or cold, however we ask that your hot water heater be at 120 degrees or lower. Also you can turn the hot and cold water off then when you turn them back on make sure to open them equally.

How large a hole do I need in the counter to accommodate the soap dispenser threaded tube?

The hole size for the soap dispenser should be between 1 5/16" and 1 1/2". The same size is recommended for the faucet shank.

The black part may be the included wrench to remove the aerator. The white plastic sleeves are used if a custom-fit supply line connection is used. Be sure to closely follow the installation instructions if using custom-fit connections.

Noticing cold water takes long time to come and stays warm, not just on a hot day where supply water temp might be higher than other days, but on a cooler day also. Rest of the house does not have this problem. Is there something wrong internally?

Our faucet was installed a little over a year ago. It is now dripping after touch shut off. If we manually shut off with the handle there’s no drip. What can we do?

Leaking is normally caused by a blockage or debris, we would recommend a flush of the solenoid.
I would also like to have you do a flush of the unit, please see the steps below.
I would like you to keep the handle in the center full-on position, then remove the wand. Hold the hose, so it does not fall back into the faucet, then point the hose into the sink. Next, I would like you to turn the faucet on by touch for 40 seconds. Then shut the faucet off by touch and back on for another 40 seconds.
Then hold the handle and move it off and then back on without letting go for another 40 seconds. Once this has been done, please re-install the wand and check for leaking.
Next, check the supply lines for debris:
Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines.
Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water.
Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside a bucket.
Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply.

Installed the Charmaine faucet last week- very low water flow. Measured one gallon in a minute and a half (90 seconds). I took out aerator to check debris and all clear. Measured water flow without aerator and came up with same amount.

The maximum flow rate is 1.8 GPM @ 60 psi. I recommend flushing the faucet. Please view the information below.
To flush the unit, we recommend the following:
Start with the easy stuff:
Remove your aerator, wand or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed.
If the flow is good, the piece you’ve removed is where the issue is.
Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow.
If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet.
Next, check the supply lines for debris:
Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines.
Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water.
Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside a bucket.
Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply.

Does this model work by touching the device, or does it have to be physically turned on every time?

This is a manual faucet model without Touch technology.
The similar model 19962TZ-SSSD-DST has touch technology. Unfortunately, it is discontinued. See our current selection of Touch2O faucets here:
