Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poor design on weight I like the faucet itself, 3 different spray patterns and looks good, easy to install. However, the retractable hose weight is in my opinion, a very poor design. It is too light and hangs loose, therefore not pulling hose back in, nozzle just hangs, unless you feed hose back in. I thought about returning it, I still might do that, but for now, I modified the weight by taping it about 2" on the draw down part of hose to put weight on that part of hose so that it will pull hose in. On Moen & Kohler brands, you clamp weight, which is snug on hose.

Buyer Beware I posted a review about a defect in the faucet (handle constantly falls off) and you send an emails response with NO way for me to respond to it. When I try, I am told it is a DONTREPLY address. That tells me you do NOT want people to let you know of issues and that you have no REAL intent to fix them. Shame on Delta for that. Your email did me no good. I cannot repair the faucet. You need to supply the parts and a plumber. It should not be at my expense. I am not a plumber, nor a manufacturer, just a customer who plunked down hundreds of dollars to buy your faucet. How about your email with a return address?????

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful but ONE Major Issue We have had our beautiful Delta faucet for a year, but the handle has fallen off, at least 20 times since we bought it, and we have to keep tightening the screw that holds it into the slot where it should be staying. :(

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Faucets out there! Our oldest Son and his family has had a 19962Z-SSSD-DST Delta faucet in their home for about 4 years now. As soon as my wife saw it in their kitchen she said to me,, "THAT, is the faucet I want when our current one goes bad. We'll, it did go bad and as of yesterday (3-20-22) we now have a brand new Delta Stainless ShieldSpray faucet! My lovely wife is ELATED to say the least. Our (Youngest) gracious Son Andrew, is an excellent plumber and agreed to installed it for us. It's a beautiful addition to our house...and did I say my Wife loves it - as do I. I HIGHLY recommend Delta Faucets, and this one in particular.

Does this model work by touching the device, or does it have to be physically turned on every time?

Hi Timbo, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 19962Z-SSSD-DST. This is a manual faucet model without Touch technology. The similar model 19962TZ-SSSD-DST has touch technology. Looking to purchase a replacement head with Shield Sprayer for Model 19962Z-SSSD-DST. Shield sprayer nozzle fell out.  Please tell me where I can buy a new sprayer head.  We love our Delta faucet.

I need only to buy the head of my delta kitchen faucet model 19962Z-SSSD-DST (Charmaine). I bought it at home depot months ago and now it is clogged and pressure is very weak and it gives out very little water,. Everything is working fine except the head.

If the Charmaine® Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet with Soap Dispenser Model#: 19962Z-SSSD-DST leaks from under handle: Remove the handle and cap using a wrench, ensure the bonnet nut is tight. If the leak persists, shut off the water supplies. Replace the DIAMOND™ Valve Model#: RP73000. When reinstalling parts, make sure bonnet nut is tightened securely with a wrench. I have 63PSI on my water pressure but I am not even getting 1 gal per minute from my faucet. This is way down from what my old faucet was doing and no where near the 1.8 gpm that it says it gives. What is up? This is only 4 hours old!!

Good morning Jeng! Thank you for your question. We are sorry that you are having a concern with your Delta Faucet 19962Z-SSSD-DST faucet and will be happy to help you. Reduced flow is typically caused by debris. If only one side is affected, there is debris in the supply line. To flush the supply line, first shut off the hot and cold water supply. Remove the hot supply line from the shut off valve and place the line into a bucket. Open the handle to the middle position, fully open, then turn the cold supply back on for one minute. The cold water should flow through the faucet and out the hot supply tube. Reconnect the supply line and turn on both supplies. Check flow from the faucet. If this does not help, please let us know.
