Fantastic Quality & Style!
Beautiful faucet! We love the spray features, especially the spray vs stream toggle button. I have severe arthritis & this sprayer is a joy to use. We love that the faucet is so modern looking. We were so tired of the goose neck faucets which we feel will be outdated soon enough, thus we feel that we will get years of use with its fantastic style!

It looks great!
I bought this faucet just a few weeks ago because it looked like it would fit in
the style of house. It was easy to install and works beautifully, it will get a really heavy use
in this household, so we will have to see how it holds up.

Good, but needs improvement
It would be nice if the sprayer button was on top so that when you switch from stream to spray on the faucet head, it doesn’t spray your hand and send water cascading about. The handle is a little too sensitive in selecting an appropriate stream of water.

Does the whole faucet swivel on its base? Can it be used with a two-compartment sink? (All the photos of it show it in the same orientation, which suggests that only the pull-out sprayer swivels.)
Thank you for your question, BrianK! Model 4193-DST is not intended to swivel at the base but will rotate 360 degrees at the top pivot joint.

What is the proceedure for replacing the the sprayer assembly of the 4193-DST? I can't find it in the installation instructions.
Thank you for your question, George! Replacing the sprayer assembly will begin with unscrewing the wand from the hose and then pulling it down through the unit. The new hose can be inserted down into the spout and using a slight turning motion will help this process. Please contact us back if you have questions or need assistance.

What is the reach of the pull out and what is the hose made out of?
Thank you for your question, Gayle! The hose for this model is 62" (1473 mm) long and is made of either polyethylene or santoprene with a nylon mesh covering. The reach should be close to 32" to 36" approximately depending on the installation.

Your photos show the Polished Nickel with stainless steel appliances and I have stainless steel also. The Artic Stainless would match, but I love the warmth of the Polished Nickel. Would I be making a design error to use the Polished Nickel?

Thank you for your question. Our Polished Nickel finish is a high-gloss, pale gold finish. The Arctic Stainless finish is a glossy finish with icy tones. Arctic Stainless is a brushed finish like Stainless Steel. Over the years, the color of stainless steel used on appliances and sinks has migrated from warmer tones, with more red in the color spectrum, to lighter tones where blue is more predominant. Arctic Stainless features cooler metallic tones, following a trend seen throughout the kitchen.

Does the hot/cold handle pull forward or does it push backward? We have a backsplash that is a concern.

Thank you for your inquiry! The handle of the Delta Pivotal Pull-Out Kitchen 4193-AR-DST faucet operates by pushing it outward (away) from the spout body, to turn it on and adjust for hot and hot water. We recommend a minimum 2" (51 mm) clearance to the back splash.

will this faucet work well with a 70/30 stainless sink?
