Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything and more! This fixture is the perfect style for our kitchen. Our home is a historic Victorian home, and it has been fully remodeled. The style of this fixture is modern with a hint of old classic. I can’t rave enough about the finish!!!! A simple wipe with a dish cloth or paper towel keeps it so clean, and there are no water stains, even after over a month of use. We love this sink fixture, and all that it has to offer!

Does the pull down spray wand have a water shut-off button? That is, can you shut the water flow OFF from the pull down?

Asked by: GrumpyGeezer
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 9197-AR-DST has a toggle switch that will let you move from spray to stream. The only way to shut off the water flow is on the handle.

Does this faucet revert automatically to stream mode from spray mode when you shut the water off?

Asked by: Linda
Hi Linda, Thank you for your question. The spray modes on the model 9197-DST work on a toggle type switch. You will move the switch between the stream and spray modes. When you turn the water off it will remain in whatever mode you were using. The faucet does not switch back to the stream mode automatically. Thanks, Dave

I have had this faucet for a little over a year. Suddenly my pressure is low and inconsistent. I cannot seem to find a manual to help me take it apart or troubleshoot. Do you have a manual that can be emailed to me?

Asked by: Jason Massopust
Hi, Thank you for contacting us. We apologize for any inconvenience. We are more than happy to help you. Reduced flow is typically caused by debris. If only one side is affected, there is debris in the supply line. To flush the supply line, first shut off the hot and cold water supply. Remove the hot supply line from the shut off valve and place the line into a bucket. Open the handle to the middle position, fully open, then turn the cold supply back on for one minute. The cold water should flow through the faucet and out the hot supply tube. Reconnect the supply line and turn on both supplies. Check flow from the faucet. If this does not help, please let us know. Please contact us at 1-800-345-3358 if you have any further concerns. We are open Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM central time, and 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday. Best Regards, Bethany

Can this be installed with the lever in the front instead of the side? Does this require batteries?

Asked by: MommaLinda
Hi, MommaLinda! Thank you for your question. The Delta 9197-AR-DST non-electronic faucet can be installed with the handle on the front of the spout. The Delta 9197T-AR-DST Touch2O faucet cannot have the handle facing the front as the LED light base will need to be installed in the front and the base will not align with the faucet if the handle is in the front. The faucet does require batteries for touch operation. Best Regards, Rosanna

Delta Kitchen Faucet 9197-DST was just installed today and one of the sprays doesn't seem to work correctly. One soft spray and the other comes out balloon like. The plumber doesn't think anything is wrong but it looks strange. Is there an adjustment?

Asked by: Becky
Thank you for your question, Becky! The "balloon spray" you are noticing is our new ShieldSpray technology which allows for a protective bubble of water that helps reduce splashing while also providing a laser-like precision jet to quickly and easily remove stubborn messes. We have had a kitchen faucet 9197-RB-DST for a year. The flow slowed, so I took the head off and cleaned the surface debris off the aerator screen. Is there a way to further break the head down and actually clean the interior? Is this advisable?

Asked by: Jack
Thank you for your question, Jack! A Delta spray wand is not designed or advised to be taken apart and does not contain repair parts. Doing so will also void the warranty. For low flow issues we recommend using the Touch-Clean spray holes, which allow you to easily wipe away calcium and lime build-up with the touch of a finger. You may also want to remove the wand and check that the flow has improved without the wand attached as a blockage could be elsewhere. For further removal of internal buildup in the wand, we recommend pouring a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water directly through the wand, or for stubborn buildup, you may soak the wand in this mixture for thirty minutes. Please contact us directly if you need further assistance. Best regards, Edward

I recently purchased this faucet and the description states there is a "temporary water flow increase" possibility with this faucet. Is this true?

Since our psi is less than 60 because we are on a private water supply where the psi is generally not set as high as municipal sources, the water flow for this faucet is quite weak. A temporary water flow increase to fill large pots is important. Will be disappointed/frustrated if this is not possible.
Asked by: MiaCee
Dear MiaCee, Thank you for you inquiry! The Delta Cassidy Pull-Down Kitchen 9197-DST faucet is not designed with a "temporary water flow increase" feature. The wand assembly is a Touch-Clean 2-function wand that operates in stream or spray mode. https://media.deltafaucet.com/SpecSheet/DSP-K-9197-DST%20Rev%20C.pdf Best regards, Tanya

We have had an Delta faucet model 9197 professionally installed - the weight for the spray nozzle does not pull the nozzle back into the faucet when you are done spraying - you have to manually push it back into the faucet.

Asked by: Thomas
Hi, Thomas. Thank you for your inquiry. The Delta 9197-DST faucet sprayer will need manual assistance by the user to dock into the spout assembly. Once the sprayer assembly is docked, the weight as well as the magnet in the spout, keeps the sprayer docked into the spout assembly. Best Regards, Rosanna

We just finished building our new home and have this faucet installed and it had great pressure for a week and then all of a sudden it lost about half of its pressure.  All the other faucets in the house are fine just this one has pressure issues now.

Asked by: tgcockre
Thank you for your question, tgcockre! Debris can occasionally get inside a faucets valve, especially during a new construction or when first installed. We recommend removing the wand assembly from the hose first to check for buildup. Run the water on a full mixed position while pointing the hose into the sink for about a full minute to help alleviate any further sediment. If the lowflow persists, please contact us directly and we would be happy to help further. Best regards, Edward
