But it does not line up with the unit: the hole in the outside cover and inside brackets force a gross misalignment with the ability to raise and lower the plunger.

What Delta repair kit or cartridge number do I need for the Model B2596LF-OB.

Does the Lift Rod for the B2596LF-OB Bathroom Faucet have to be mounted at an angle or are there multiple ways to install the Lift Rod? Instructions are very vague on this point. Thank you for your time

Delta B2596LF-OB bathroom faucet. Lift rod does not clear steel base plate as base of faucet. Can this plate be removed?

Hi Bruce, Thank you for your question about installing the Delta Faucet model B2596LF-OB. The metal plate on the bottom of the faucet is not designed to be removed. Because of the bends in the lift rod, you may need to first insert it at an angle. If necessary, install the lift rod before installing the faucet to the sink. How do you get the handle off to fix a leaky faucet?

Hi! Thank you for your question! I will be happy to help. You will need to first pop off the caps on top of the handles where the letters "C" and "H" are located. After than you will use a phillips screwdriver to remove the screw beneath it. Please make sure you turn off the water at the shut off valves below deck prior to installing new repair parts. I don't see a faucet code on the back of the escutcheon. Is there another way to determine if I need RP54801 or RP41701 or should I just assume it is 41701?

2 of my 4 B2596LF-SS faucets have developed deep round and elongated blemishes on the spout (so deep I can see red underneath the stainless finish). They were installed 9/2014. Are they covered by warranty? What should I do? I have pics.

How do I change the aerator on bathroom sink faucet Model B2569LF-OB. It does not unscrew like most. Do I need a specific tool?

Our Delta model B2596LF does have a threaded aerator, If tight you may want to soak a rag in 50/50 white vinegar and water then wrap around the aerator to help loosen up and build up before removing. I am trying to install this product and the box is missing the plastic gasket that goes under the base plate on the counter. Is this a generic part that I can find elsewhere, or do I need one to specifically fit this model? Thank you

Unfortunately, the gasket on the bottom of the faucet is not available as an individual part. A ¼” bead on the bottom of the faucet can be used instead. The purpose of this gasket is to prevent water from outside the faucet from seeping under the base of the faucet and going under the deck into the cabinet.
