This polished brass faucet was for the half bath and it matches beautifully with the light fixture already in there that we couldn’t see replacing (light fixture) at this time. I asked our 24-year-old son to replace and it was a piece of cake! On another note: I love the selection your company has. Over a number of years, I have purchased seven faucets, a shower ensemble and three light fixtures. Your webpage is easy to browse, shipping is fast and I believe it’s a better quality than what the box stores have.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Faucet This faucet is beautiful, we love it!!! Glad we went with brass. So rich looking. But it does have a sort of slow water flow. I like a hard flow. Faucets today have inhibitors in them to reduce the flow. WHY? Makes no sense because all that does is make you run it longer and take more time. Less water doesn't work as well.

We bought 4 for each bathroom. When the plumber came to install he let my husband know what a good job I did picking these out. The reason why is tbecause many faucet sets have plastic pieces inside the interior instead of steel. These are metal and he says they will last a really long time because of that. I'm patting myself on the back!!

I've always been a Delta customer. Even my parents. Quality, durability and design being the reason. New fixtures design is great, but I have noticed that they aren't built as solid as what I'm accustomed to as a Delta product.

I had more leaking with this faucet, in its drain pipe, than I have had with any of the numerous other Delta faucets I have installed over the decades. Finally stopped the leaks, after three different areas had been plumbers-caulked. Also, the pop-up lever pull-rod comes up crooked (it's a bent rod, not your typical straight rod), and I can't figure out a way to make it come up straight. Very poor design - shame on you Delta! For the install problems I had, it was 'way overpriced. But, it does LOOK nice!

The pictures looks whiter than our old one, but it actually has more yellow/gold and is a perfect match to other fixtures. The installation was very easy with minimal tools. Handles operate so smoothly--it's incredible after the old single handle one. We are very happy with the product and the purchase and delivery from Build.com.

Some of your bathroom faucets recommend a 2 1/2" min. clearance from the backsplash to the centerline of the sink holes. I have 2 1/4". Will I still be able to install the faucet?

Hi Lee64, Thank you for your question. We recommend having a 2 1/2" clearance from the back splash. Having less clearance could interfere with installation, use, or maintenance of the faucet. Best regards, Jon

I am not clear on terminology...are there any non metal (plastic,Pex,etc) parts inside B2596LF chrome 413763 Windemere that carry the water. For example the 1/2"-14 NPSM threaded male inlet shanks, internal water lines, etc thank you

What is the aerator size thread and diameter? Is it a male or female aerator? Wanted to buy replacement part from local hardware store.

aerator

Is the aerator removable on this faucet and if so what size is it? We have a laundry quick connect that would need to replace the aerator and it is hard to tell if this would work with this faucet.

If I bought a 1.5GPM new replacement aerator, would the faucet emit 1.2GPM or would it increase to 1.5GPM ?

Thank you for your question, MThomas! The faucet itself does not limit the amount of water or flow rate but instead depends on the aerator used to restrict as well as soften the stream. The 1.5GPM aerator will increase the flow rate to 1.5GPM. Best regards, Edward

recently had B2596LF CHROME-date on box 8-8-2017 installed by a plumber and wanted to verify that 1.it has metal threaded male inlet shanks (that water supply lines are connected to) 2.the water lines inside the faucet are all copper-no plastics
