Is this compatible with a Monitor 1400 series valve from 1999?

Hello Anonymous! Thank you for your question. The Delta T14059-BL is compatible with an existing 1300/1400 series rough-in using the RP19804 cartridge or any Delta rough-in manufactured after September 2006 (MultiChoice R10000).If you have the cartridge from 1999, you will need to replace your current cartridge with the new RP19804, it will have a blue bottom, the previous one has a white bottom. Can this shower trim fit valve RP70538?

can delta faucet t14059 be installed without escutcheon? It would be installed wall mounted for use with a non diverting tub filler

Hello- recently had the T14059 installed in a new shower and noticed that the faucet does not go from cold (3:00) to the hot point (9:00) but goes to12:00 position- w warm water.Should the faucet be able to go from cold dot position to hot dot position?

How do you turn off the shower?  It only goes left and right, toggling between hot and cold.  Also is it only supposed to move about 45-60 degrees?

Hi bath_remodel_22, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T14059-CZ. The shower would be off when the handle is in the 3 o'clock position. Turning the handle counterclockwise will turn on the faucet and increase the temperature as the handle is turned. The distance the handle will turn depends on how the Rotational Limit Stop is adjusted. I currently have the monitor 17 series. I only want to change the trim. Can the Monitor 14 series be used with the valves of the Monitor 17 series?

We’re are trying to make adjustments but can’t find an Allen wrench that will fit this handle so we can remove it. A 2 is to small and a 2.5 is too large.
