Some pieces appear to be plastic to keep the cost down. It does seem to smudge a little but for a second bath fixture and price, it seems to be a good value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice trim kit, vastly improved my dated bathroom. I got the champagne bronze version, it looks very nice. The shower head is good, the tub spout slows the fill rate a bit but I don't think enough to make a big difference, unless you have a deep tub. I replaced my old Monitor 13 trim with this, and was able to use my older cartridge with it so that I did not have to also replace the valve in the wall to use the new cartridge that is included in the box. You can buy new "old" cartridges online. These are plastic pieces but so are the originals that I had. They do not look like plastic, and hopefully they will stay looking nice for a few years.

Within 3 days, I could not open the pop up drains. Took me days to get them to work so I could empty the water from sinks, Additionally, I expected them to be a better quality. Delta, not such a great product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful shower set I absolutely love the look of this Delta set, I find it sturdy and sleek looking. I really like that it seems to be nice and thick, so I do not worry about things breaking off easily. I personally installed the showerhead (on my existing pole) and the tub spout. I had to have a plumber friend come do the changing out with a rough<?>, that the handle goes on. The one I had in the wall was far too small and would not work. Overall, I would prefer the handle be slightly longer, but that is just my preference as it functions just fine. Also, I like to have A LOT of streams of water hitting me at once, so the shower head went into my guest bathroom, again nothing wrong with it but my prefence is different.

I was able to follow instructions and do it myself with excellent results. it's a nice classic design with some neat features including a temperature regulating feature that we desperately needed. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to update are their bathrooms. I would absolutely purchase this set.

They work very well and were easy to install. This kit comes with everything you need including the inner valves. instructions are very easy to follow. Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality and value! We installed this shower trim on our outdoor shower. The sleek clean design fits well with the modern look of our home. Being installed outdoors I know this trim will be exposed to the harsh weather conditions of West Texas. I know this Delta fixture will hold up for years to come, but as a builder I know I will likely have to replace the fixture in the future. That is why I love Delta and their Multichoice universal valve. I can simple get a new Delta shower trim and just replace the trim and cartridge without any tear out or plumbing change which is a must for an outdoor shower!

The installation instructions were perfect and there's an 800 number you can call if you get really stuck. After installation, I stepped back to admire the finished product and it was breathtaking. It really changed the look of my bathroom. I've had one visitor since installation and she commented on how great it looked and on how powerful the water pressure was. Delta is pumping out some great products, so I'm a customer for life!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Strong force from shower head. I personally do not like the strong force of the water that comes out of this h20 kinetic shower head and there is no adjustment for it. Water sprays out all over and makes a mess of my glass shower. I'm going to have to replace it.

It's great quality for the price, although the cost to get a matching drain and overflow cover is kind of silly, so we have a mismatched bathtub at this point. The spray quality is decent and so far everything has been easy to operate. Our installer didn't mention it being difficult but there is a little overspray coming out one side of the shower -- this could be an installation issue rather than the product, though.

The tub spout's plastic interior leaks no matter what, and that whole piece feels cheap in your hand. The showerhead isn't awful but isn't impressive either. The shower arm that comes with this kit is so tiny, I had to 2-ship a longer one from Amazon Prime to replace it. Overall extremely dissatisfied and regret not saving up more money for a nicer kit.

The shower head is nice and powerful, but compared to our existing Toto head, it’s too powerful!

It is very solid and high quality, and was relatively easy to install. It has worked well. My only complaint is that I'm not crazy about the shower head that is included. The H20 Kinetic feature is neat, but it feels unusual. This probably won't be a concern for most people, and the shower head could be easily replaced.

Slip on installation for the tub spout

The details on the slip on installation for the tub spout is very minimal. What is the length of the pipe from the wall? Also, does any caulk need to be used? also, it says to tighten the set screen, but the white plastic middle is in the way and does not have a whole? Is the adapter supposed to be inside the white plastic piece in the middle? Very poor instructions!!

Thank you for your question, Kevin. The tub spout will include a brass slip-on adapter (RP33794) that you can remove from the tub spout. The 1/2&quot; copper pipe should extend 2&quot; to 4&quot; from the finished wall. Install the adapter so that there is a 1/4&quot; to 1/2&quot; between the adapter and the finished wall. Tighten the set screw, then thread the tub spout onto the adapter. Best regards, Jon

Hi, I am looking into updating the shower/bath trim in my bathroom&gt; I currently have a delta system installed and I am looking to update with a black trim system. &nbsp;Is there a way to avoid updating valves? Thx

Hello Julie, Thank you for your question. As long as the screw holes on your current Delta 13/1400 series large round escutcheon plate are at the 1 and 7 o'clock positions and you do not have a push button shower diverter directly below the off and on handle, then The Delta Trinsic Tub and Shower T14459-BL trim kit and any of our other trim kits that start with a T13 or a T14 will interchange for you, without having to replace the rough-in valve body in the wall. The cartridges that come with the new trim kits may not fit your valve body, so you may need to reuse your existing cartridge. Best regards, Tanya

Hello, marcoos! Thank you for your question. There are a couple options to divert the water between the showering components. The first is an in-wall diverter. For this, you will need the R11000 Rough-In Valve and a T11859 Diverter Trim Kit to match your shower valve trim. You will also need a supply elbow for the hand shower hose, such as the 50560. The second option is to use a shower arm diverter, such as the U4923-PK or U4929-PK. Best regards, Jon

It the tub spout with the Pull-Up Diverter (MODEL#: RP73371) ADA compliant? It does not list Model T14459 or T14459- LHD as ADA in the cut sheet. Is this a mistake? Thank you!

Thank you for your question, KmarieK! Model RP73371 is not an ADA complaint tub spout. The valve trim on these models is considered ADA compliant, however the tub spout is a pull up diverter which does not qualify for this certification.
