Con manijas separadas para controlar el volumen y la temperatura, esta bañera/ducha de Delta brinda una experiencia de ducha más refinada. Simplemente configure el agua a su temperatura preferida y abra o cierre la ducha con la manija de control de volumen, sin interrumpir la temperatura establecida. I have specifically ordered the Vigo shower system more often than the others because it has a clean modern look. Being one of the more affordable thermostatic valves on the market, it’s a great value. If you are not familiar, Thermostatic is a must have. This keeps the temperature consistent whether someone flushes the toilet in the next room or someone is running laundry, the temperature doesn’t change. A added bonus: the accessories that go with the Vigo line are very well-made and easy to install. When using Delta fixtures, spring for the rough in valve with shut offs built-in. This is extremely convenient so you don’t have to shut the whole house water down multiple times.

What is the dimensions of the shower head? What is the flow rate (gallons/min)? Does it have ceramic valve parts?

Hi Debi, Thank you for your questions. The dimensions of the showerhead in the model T17T253 are 8-21/32" x 5-45/64". The flow rate of the showerhead is 2.5 gallons per minute. The cartridge is a brass housing with ceramic plates. Thanks, Dave

We are planning on getting the dual-function shower head (T17253-SS) and handshower (55530-SS), do I need the shower only valve body (R10000-UNBXHF) or do I need the shower/tub valve body (R10000-UNBX)? Besides the valve body, what other items do I need?

Hello Mike, Thank you for your question. Yes, you can use the R10000-UNBXHF or R10000-UNBX with the Delta Vero TempAssure Shower T17T253-SS and hand shower 55530-SS. You will also need a Diverter Rough-In Valve R11000 and matching Vero Diverter 3-Setting Trim Kit T11853-SS. Best regards, Tanya

how do i adjust the temperature of the hot water to maximum hot?

Hi, Hobe! Thank you for your question. The rotational limit stop for the Delta T17T253 unit can be adjusted for hotter water. To adjust, Remove the temperature control knob from splines. Rotate temperature control knob clockwise. Place temperature control knob back onto splines and continue to rotate counter-clockwise until maximum desired temperature is achieved. Remove the temperature knob and replace onto the splines, making sure that the temperature knob limit stop hits against the volume handle limit stop. Is there a longer shower arm that can be used with the Vero raincan shower head?

Thank you for your question. We do one shower arm that reaches longer than the 16" on Delta Faucet model # T17T253. It is model # U6930 and will extend from 13"-22".

Can I add a hand-held shower?

We want a rainshower head and a handheld shower. We want a diverter to control which output is "on".

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17T253 can have a hand held shower added to it. We recommend using the Delta Faucet model R11000 diverter rough with the T11853 diverter trim. There are two hand held showers with this series. Delta Faucet model # 55530 is a wall mount handshower and 57530 is a slide mount handshower that comes with a wall bar. Using either one of those will require a wall elbow which is model 50560.

Ceiling Mounting?

Can I use the Brizo - Siderna Shower Arm - 6 in. Ceiling Mount - RP48985PC to mount this on the ceiling?
