RESEÑAS
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Functional and beautiful Awesome piece and easy to install highly recommend this piece of art
Date published: 2024-10-21
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect The tub filler is very attractive and works great. I was worried it would have low water pressure since Delta tends to be more conservative with their restrictors but it fills my large tub very quickly. The hose has a good spray and is more than long enough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sleek, modern, and functional! Love how modern and sleek this Delta faucet is! It coordinates with our Delta faucet in the shower easy to use and like the removable shower wand fur rinsing or cleaning the tub.
Date published: 2024-07-22
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not worth the price… There are a few flaws that make this unit not worth the hefty price tag. Tub filler leaks, shower wand leaks, diverter nob wears out quickly… Seats and springs will need replacing often -“as will the diverter knob. Would not recommend for a daily use tub.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love the look but several leaking problems We finished out our house (5 bathrooms, laundry room, and kitchen) in Delta Trinsic faucets 2 1/2 years ago. We love them all expect the bathroom floor tub filler. After about 6 months it started leaking from the main faucet and we got that fix by our home builder still under the 1 year warranty. But now the wand is leaking and can't get it to stop. We current have to let it hang in the tub every time we use it, which is annoying and doesn't look good. So every time I turn the main facet on the hand held wand drips water also. I've looked for a plug to just remove the wand, but can't seem to find one in the parts list. For a $2,000 facet you'd expect it to work.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Leaking like a lot of other reviews We’ve been in our house for about 3 years. The previous owners redid the bathroom at some point. Our wand leaks because of the diverted valve also. I’m not seeing replacement valves and the little piece looks like more than an O-ring. Stinks because these are expensive.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Leaking wand and diverter valve I have a very similar issue to most people writing reviews. The wand and diverted valve leaks allow water to pool on my baseboards and under the tub base. I am very frustrated with an expensive, beautiful-looking filler.

What do you mean by "valve not included" on the T4759-FL? I know I need the R4700-FL to mount it to the floor, but do I also need to order a hot/cold valve (RP46074) to go inside the stand?

Asked by: Brian
Hello Brian, Thank you for your inquiry! The valve cartridge assembly RP46074 does come with the Delta Trinsic Roman Tub Trim T4759-FL. The R4700-FL does not come with the trim kit, it has to be purchased separately. https://media.deltafaucet.com/PartsDiagram/DPD-B-T4759-FL_A.pdf Best regards, Tanya

Not enough hot water- can i adjust

On the hottest setting the water is under 100 degrees, we are forced to fill a bucket in the shower to fill the tub. How can I adjust the flow? This unit was installed previous to our ownership. Thanks.
Asked by: jfahy
Hi John, Thank you for your question. The cartridge in the model 4759-FL is equipped with a rotational limit stop that allows you to set the max hot water temperature. Page 7 of the attached manual will show you how to make the adjustment to raise the water temperature. http://www.deltafaucet.com/customersupport/documentation/t4759-fl.html?document=mi&fromDetailArea=bath&documentIndex=0#flashWrapper Thanks, Dave

I have an old house and the hot water flow is lessening now on my Delta T4759/R4700-FL. Is there a "grit" screen to clean on the tub filler like there is on my kitchen sink? If so, where is it, and how can this be accomplished? Thanks very much!

Asked by: DDDD
Thank you for your question, DDDD! I do apologize for any issue you may be having with this tub filler, but will be more than happy to help! There is a rotational limit stop on the cartridge, which may need to be readjusted seasonally. Run the water so that the cold water is as cold as it will get, and then run the hot water until is as hot as it will get. Pull the white Rotational Limit Stop outward and rotate. Clockwise rotation will decrease the outlet temperature, counterclockwise rotation will increase the outlet temperature. When finished, make sure that the Rotational Limit Stop is fully retracted into the seated position. Place the handle on the stem, and rotate the handle counterclockwise until the handle stops. I have included a link to the maintenance and installation sheet, for you to refer to. If you need further assistance, feel free to contact us directly. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/74820%20Rev%20G.pdf Best Regards, Benjamin

Hot is Cold

We have this floor mounted faucet but when we turn it on it comes out hot first and if we keep turning it goes to cold. Is it possible that it is mounted 180 degrees out? Can we just lift It up and rotate it? It is mounted on the left side of the tub. I heard somewhere that it should Be mounted on the right side of the tub but That would reduce the design possibilities.
Asked by: Schuffy
Thank you for your inquiry, Schuffy! We would advise removing and rotating the valve cartridge assembly 180 degrees and reinstalling it. This should allow the cold water to run first, out of your Delta Contemporary Floor Mount Roman Tub T4759-FL model. Best regards, Tanya

Dumbest question.  Have the Cassidy freestanding tub filler installed and it has one handle for on/off water flow. How do I get temp control?  Handle  doesn’t turn any further than “water on.”

Hi Emma, Thank you for you question. The cartridge assembly of the Delta Contemporary Floor Mount Tub Filler T4759-FL model is equipped with a rotational limit stop that allows you to set the max hot water temperature. The water temperature on this item does not get nearly as hot as the rest of my bathroom.  I have the entire Trinsic line on both my sinks and shower, however when filling the tub the hot water is warm at best. How do I fix this?

Asked by: Destined512
Hi, Destined512! Thank you for your question. The valve cartridge assembly does have a rotational limit stop that can be adjusted so that your water can become hotter. You will want to remove the set screw from the handle with a 1/8" allen wrench. Once the handle is removed you will be able to see the rotational limit stop on the front of the cartridge. To adjust the rotational limit stop: 1. Pull out the inner, off-white circle. It maybe quite stiff. 2. When pulled out far enough, the circle will turn. Left (counterclockwise=hotter, right (clockwise)=colder. 3.Release the circle once it's at the desired temperature. 4. Test the temperature, adjust the rotational limit stop as needed. Can you slow the flow rate down?

I have this model and I have a tankless water heater. During the winter I need to slow the flow rate down to get hotter water at times. The handle does not adjust flow rate, only temperature. Is there something that could be installed to decrease the flow rate to the faucet?

Does it include a mounting plate? What type of connections (interface) do I need for the supply lines? I read the installation instructions and it doesn't specify supply to faucet connection types. Thank you.
Asked by: Lori
Hi Lori, Thank you for your question. The T4759-FL is only the trim for the faucet. You will also need to order the floor mount tub filler rough in as well. R4700-FL or R4700FLWS will work with the trim to make a complete faucet. The roughs are plumbed with 1/2" lines. I have attached the manual for the R4700-FL below. However if you upgrade to the RP73598 cartridge that gives a higher flow rate you will not have either protection. This high flow cartridge is not recommended to be used in a shower application.
