La exclusiva tecnología de sellado DIAMOND Seal® de Delta presenta una válvula con un revestimiento resistente de diamante. Los conductos de agua de PEX InnoFlex® evitan que el agua dentro de la llave entre en contacto con posibles contaminantes metálicos. Esta potente combinación le ofrece una llave fabricada para hasta cinco millones de usos. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful faucet, worked well for first 2 years Beautiful faucet, worked well for a couple of years then began leaking (hard to shut off flow) due to cartridge (part # RP50587Y). Florida water is hard and hard on the cartridge. Delta is gracious enough to send replacement cartridges under warranty; otherwise, at $40 a pop for a new cartridge, I would not be able to afford to keep it. First cartridge lasted 2 years, the second lasted for almost 3 years. I miss the o-ring replacement type faucets. Rating would be lower but saved by the great warranty service.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Flawed design, now leaks I purchased at Home Depot about a year ago and although it is pretty solid, the design of the switch makes it difficult to fully close consistently. Now, over time, the faucet has started to leak. I never had this issue with my Moen faucet because their switch/valve made it easier to fully shut off. I was hoping this faucet would last longer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed I purchased this faucet and it worked well for a few months. Now the spray nozzle gets stuck in the faucet and nearly impossible to remove and insert as it should. I tried lubricants to help; however, to no avail.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy install if you’re replacing a newer faucet It took my son and I a full day to install the faucet. I had a faucet that was about 15 years old, and it was leaking and in bad shape. I bought this faucet at Home Depot and brought it home just to find out the water lines were a different size. We had to make three trips back to Home Depot to find the right adaptor. If your faucet is over fifteen years old they changed the standard for faucets since then, but that was about the only problem we ran into a couple more hiccups because the directions were not that good. Other than that for the first day the water flow and sprayer worked great, compared to what I had it is a dream.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Total Disaster We bought this faucet, it worked for awhile, then it went downhill. The handle is tight and now it leaks when we use the handle. Delta sent us a part for replacement, but it is impossible to unscrew some round thing in there to install that part. Horrible faucet. How am I supposed to replace it?? The faucet was installed during countertop installation and now it is a nightmare to unscrew this whole darn thing. Water is dripping and I have a cloth next to the handle to absorb water. Total disaster. Don't buy.

installing on a stainless steel sink

Can the Grant faucet be installed on a stainless steel sink, that is, is there a minimum sink thickness for installing this faucet? If approved for installation in a stainless steel sink are there any additional installation steps not shown in the installation instructions?

does this faucet swivel? I don't mean the pull out handle, I mean does the whole faucet swivel on the base? I can't tell from the specs.

How do you change the aerator.

Thank you for your question, roofer1938! The aerator on the Delta Grant model is a cashe aerator and requires the wrench that was supplied with this model for removal of the aerator. This wrench maybe clipped onto the supply line of your faucet below the counter. Which water filter for Grant

Which water filter is compatible with the Grant faucet

Hi JJ, Thank you for your question. We do not recommend to use attach a water filter on the end of a pull-out or pull-down faucet. However, you can use any filtration system that is installed below the sink that has a 3/8" connection or adapter. Best regards, Jon

Need a quick disconnect connector that will fit this faucet

I want to connect a portable washer to the 16953-DST faucet in my kitchen but the threads on the aerator are non-standard and I am not able to find an adapter. Please advise on the part # for an adapter to change from the aerator thread size to a standard aerator thread size - or - the part # for a quick connect that will fit this aerator thread and attach to 3/4in pipe thread. Thanks!

Hi Dan, Thank you for your question. We do not recommend hooking up a portable dishwasher to the model 16953-DST faucet. Portable dishwashers should never be connected to Pull-out or Pull-down kitchen faucets due to potential pressure fluctuations during dishwasher operation that may result in rupturing of the hose.
