Rated 3 out of 5 by from THIS PRODUCT HAS POOR DESIGN My Delta works fine but my plumber bought it and installed it and I do not like the looks of it--looks like it has been sawed off--very poor design compared to the faucet that I had. I would think that with to-days modern look of faucets, that this one should be eliminated.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very easy to install. good flow verses other brands I was disappointed with the last delta faucet in that I could not take it apart to replace a leaking cartridge. I soaked it in vinegar and water as per the phone advice from delta, but could not get it apart. I had to replace it and hope that this one does not corrode like the last one. Great looking faucet and works fine.

The included PEX tubings meant I didn't have to buy the extra steel braided hoses like I had to with my last faucet. Works exactly as expected, pull out handle is convenient, plenty of rotational room even when not pulled out, and the aerator doesn't seem to overly restrict flow (I tried with and without and didn't notice much difference so I just left it in for the extra water savings). Nice finish and I'd have no problem recommending this to someone. Reasonable price and lifetime warranty is added bonus.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Faucet under $100 This is a very nice faucet, very sharp looking. Very easy to install, smooth valve operation. the only thing is the whole body is Plastic. So far I do not have an issue with the plastic. But if I did Delta stand behind their products. I would recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sprayer too wide and everything around got wet too. Love the faucet but when you use the sprayer everything in the sink and near too get wet. Sometimes if you do not put the pull out in the proper way water will leak to your cabinets. The faucet look great.

After pulling out all the parts, and reading the instructions, I convinced her to let me go back and choose either a different model or different brand. After seeing multiple faucets of different brands, I chose this Delta for its style, ease of installation and its warranty. I have other Delta faucets throughout my home and haven't had any problems, so it seemd to be a no brainer to continue using Delta. Thank you

Our latest one is in our newly-renovated kitchen and looks great with the black granite counter and black Blanco sink. It is excellent value and easy to work on when it comes time to replace O rings or cartridge. Delta, recommended by every plumber I've ever used, provided admirable after-sales service.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far so good I have an older model of this faucet at another property. I have been happy with the faucet so when it was time to replace the faucet in question, I went for the newer model. The instructions were relatively easy to understand. The installation took about an hour and fifteen minutes. I used the supply lines which were included in the parts. They were a " one size fits all" and were too long for my application. The instructions suggest that they be looped if they are too long. It was difficult to actually loop them and then hook them up to the faucet as the tension created from the loop and the stiffness of the supply lines made it a challenge when you're under the sink cabinet. I could have gone back to Home Depot and bought shorter ones, but that would have meant an extra trip, so I did the loop thing and it worked out. I believe this model is one which is sold exclusively at Home Depot which is where I purchased it. Interestingly enough, the chrome finish model was on sale and around 30.00 cheaper than the satin finish model. I opted for the chrome. The operation of the faucet is a little "touchier" than the old faucet and when turning the water to cold or hot the lever is a little stiff in terms of getting the proper water temp. This isn't a big deal however and it just takes a little getting used to . Overall I like the faucet; it's a good value for the $ spent.

This is an excellent product, just like the previous one, in my price range. The only reason I gave 4 for overall as well as design, a)it was badly designed with a strange aerator, which I cannot replace with a 0.5gpm aerator(just like how i did with my previous one), so we can see less water consumption. b)the pullout portion is plastic

Refinishing cabinets, new paint and new granite counter tops. Looks very sharp. Initially the handle had to be tightened to work properly. Initially was working well, but currently the handle has to be played with to stop it from dripping ( using ~ 2 months. So I will reserve my final review till after I contact Delta to see how this can be resolved

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grant single handle pull-out Kitchen faucet This faucet is labeled a kitchen faucet but I installed it in my laundry room, the size is great and looks real good with my stainless steel sink. This faucet adds so much to a laundry room, bright shiny chrome. I have not used it very much but when I do it performs well and looks good doing it!!

This faucet is a durable winner. I had first bought another brand faucet. This other faucet was leaking. This other faucet had a complex design. I returned that faucet to Home Depot and bought the Delta Grant faucet. This faucet was easy to install and works great.

We replaced it with this model and are greatly pleased. Love the way the spicket just pulls straight out and retracts the way it does. There is hardly any stress to the hose. I would recommend this faucet.

I bought the same model as a replacement because I like the clean look and ease of use it provides. The handle on the first one loosened but I still like the faucet so I opted to buy another as a replacement. I like having only one hole to clean around on the sink and I like the height because it is not above my window.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grant Kitchen faucet Maintenance I have had my Grant Kitchen Faucet for 3.6.years. It is still covered by a 5 year factory warranty and CS is sending a new Valve Assembly to fix the shut off problem. I just got through disassembling and cleaning the faucet after 3.6 years of use. The 2nd problem I was having was the Hub Assembly dragging when we tried to rotate it 120 degrees. I have it reassembled and the Cap/bonnet is back on and secured so it will not leak. I noticed when I took the Hub Assembly off that there was a build up of "Krud" over the 3.6 years in the gap between the Hub (RP70740) and Escutcheon (RP51490). The Gap after I cleaned the faucet is now about 1.5 - 2 cm. This appears to be a design issue as it lets water and grime in that turn into "Krud." This buildup caused the faucet to bind initially. I am not sure why I have the problem now, unless it is an adjustment. I also believe the Krud build-up in the "Gap" is a Maintenance issue and should be addressed annually. I now plan to disassemble the faucet and clean annually with a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water.

Unfortunately it didn't come with instructions nor could we access that model on the internet. It took us 45 minutes but now we are pretty sure it would take no longer than 15 minutes for these quick learning old ladies!

installing on a stainless steel sink

Can the Grant faucet be installed on a stainless steel sink, that is, is there a minimum sink thickness for installing this faucet? If approved for installation in a stainless steel sink are there any additional installation steps not shown in the installation instructions?

does this faucet swivel? I don't mean the pull out handle, I mean does the whole faucet swivel on the base? I can't tell from the specs.

How do you change the aerator.

Thank you for your question, roofer1938! The aerator on the Delta Grant model is a cashe aerator and requires the wrench that was supplied with this model for removal of the aerator. This wrench maybe clipped onto the supply line of your faucet below the counter. Which water filter for Grant

Which water filter is compatible with the Grant faucet

Hi JJ, Thank you for your question. We do not recommend to use attach a water filter on the end of a pull-out or pull-down faucet. However, you can use any filtration system that is installed below the sink that has a 3/8" connection or adapter. Best regards, Jon

Need a quick disconnect connector that will fit this faucet

I want to connect a portable washer to the 16953-DST faucet in my kitchen but the threads on the aerator are non-standard and I am not able to find an adapter. Please advise on the part # for an adapter to change from the aerator thread size to a standard aerator thread size - or - the part # for a quick connect that will fit this aerator thread and attach to 3/4in pipe thread. Thanks!

Hi Dan, Thank you for your question. We do not recommend hooking up a portable dishwasher to the model 16953-DST faucet. Portable dishwashers should never be connected to Pull-out or Pull-down kitchen faucets due to potential pressure fluctuations during dishwasher operation that may result in rupturing of the hose.
