We used a Youtube DIY video to help install the replacement part and it took probably less than 30 minutes to replace. With the new valve in place all our drip problems went away. It was a joint work effort with my wife and I and together we were able to replace the valve assembly with very minimal difficulty.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from HORRIBLE FAUCET Bought less than two months ago and the faucet is so finicky that it will drip or stream water unless it is in absolutely the right, exact spot to fully shut off. It keeps getting worse to the point I have to try to shut it off 3 or 4 times before it hits the right spot. HORRIBLE. Cannot get through to customer service. I wait on hold forever and haven't received a response to my email for nearly 10 days. I continue to email and call. Is anyone there who cares?

It was installed by a professional and ever since we have had it it has never turned off properly, only one finite spot that works to completely have no water dripping. It also is making a creaking noise at the handle turning it on and off. It is difficult to control the temperature for the water as well, either full on hot or full on cold. Not very user friendly.

If using the spray, when you are finished and shut the faucet off, and then on again, the spray is still there. Must shut the spray off each time. Didn't care for that as my other faucet, not a Delta, returned the regular . Other than that, it's a good faucet. One hole faucets are hard to find lately. Most people are choosing the three hole, but I was not about to put all new counter tops in to accommodate a faucet.

Temperature is difficult to control and cheap plastic hose is disappointing. Faucet shuts off intermittently while using spray. This isn’t my first faucet with single handle, pull out sprayer so I know how it should work. I can’t wait to replace but just spent $$$ for plumber to install.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Replacement Faucet We purchased this faucet to replace a MOEN that could not be repaired after less than 3 years. The finish is great, the fit was such that we had to modify the sink hole in an offset sink to allow all the under parts to contact the sink totally. Operation of this faucet is easy and works as described in the online description. This faucet works flawlessly, the only disadvantage being: the spray does not revert to stream when shut off and restarted.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great faucet I bought this to replace my existing faucet and while its functional and works great, a few tweaks would make it earn 5 stars.. On the positive side, it comes with long enough connectors that you can hook on directly to the hot and cold water inlets. The thing i dislike is is the very short handle, the pull out feature is not good, it does not fit back into the slot easily so some manual effort each time you take it out, in addition as the water hose is made of nylon, it does not easily go back into its slot. Thus you have to manually feed it back into the opening each time you decide to pull out the faucet head

Seven months after purchase and cartridge replacement - faucet still doesn't turn off completely. It works better, but I have no confidence in the, "Diamond", technology.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nice faucet - but would not buy again Replacement for a similar long-time Kohler kitchen faucet. My one star is only because I was used to a toggle that allows me to leave it in the spray mode all the time which this model does. I have found that the handle part is too short and my hand is partially over the black fittings where the handle fits into the faucet base and is uncomfortable. With the spout extended with the hose, if you pull it out too far as in spraying down a sink, you can kink the line and shut off when you turn the sprayer toward the drain. Even with the weight on the hose, the hose does not retract like my previous faucet. Faucet looks nice; but would not recommend it, especially if you are used to a higher quality unit.

Having a pull-out sprayer is one of the best inventions ever. It goes in and out with no problems and fits nice and snug. The longer hose was one of the main selling points for me when I was comparing faucets. This is best faucet I have ever had in a kitchen.

Where is the screen to clean build up of minerals?

How to replace parts RP50587 & RP50587 ?

Hi MaryLou, Thank you for your question. The water supplies below the counter must be shut off before attempting to change these parts. Once the handle button and set screw have been removed, unscrew the cap and bonnet nut. The RP50587 DST cartridge then lifts out. The new parts can then be changed. Make sure you do not over-tighten the bonnet nut as we recommend only one full turn with a wrench past finger tight. Best regards, Edward

 Grant Model #16953-ss-dst single handle pull out kitchen faucet installed the product however water is still dripping from the spout after use

Hi, Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a leak from your Delta faucet. There is a bonnet nut that is holding the cartridge down, underneath your handle. We recommend to tighten the bonnet nut to stop the leak. To do this, turn the water off at your shut off valve. Remove the handle. Tighten the bonnet by turning clockwise, to the right. Install the handle back on and turn the water back on. Test the faucet. If the faucet still leaks, we recommend to replace both the valve cartridge assembly, RP50587, and the bonnet nut, RP51503. My sink has slightly (<1/16") less clearance than necessary for the Grant Faucet mounting nut to screw all the way up the underside. It hits on the clip tray for the sink, which is 9/16" high. Do you have a smaller nut, spacer or other solution?

How difficult is it to replace the valve assembly if the unit leaks?

I've found it difficult to replace the cartridge in single lever faucets. Has anyone ever replaced parts that cause the faucet to leak? What is your experience?
