It didn't, so we thought we needed a heavier weight. I called Delta and was told by a very helpful agent that it was just meant to go back enough to easily manually click in place. It did that fine. I like the pull down feature. I have to get used to the way the handle must go up to turn off the water. My old one needed to be pulled down. I seem to have more water pressure with the new faucet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Addition After the old facuet, a well known name, failed and was replaced a second time; we said no more. We didn't know how bad it really was until we had a freak accident that broke our main exterior water pipe break and had to fix it. The accident resulted in the failure of the kitchen faucet. Soft lines and no angles to this faucet. Easy to use (sounds redundant right?). But the best part is its warranty and we have all the water pressure we are suppose to have when we turn the faucet on! WOW!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from hard to turn off I've had it about 5 months and maybe one out of one hundred times it will shut off correctly when I move the lever to the off position. The position/area where it is off is so small and hard to achieve. It is VERY annoying to go to turn it off several times a day and start to walk away from the kitchen sink only to see that it is dripping or even running more!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but... We've had this faucet for quite some time. Solid, no leaks, nice hose length. All-in-all a dependable product as expected from Delta. Two things however: 1) the hot & cold mix is extremely sensitive so it's hard to get the "as hot as I can bear it" temp without going to too hot; 2) miss the "pause" feature on the hose that our old faucet had. Delta - please provide recommendation (besides the scald switch) to improve temp mix. I've closed down the shutoff valve on the hot water side and that doesn't help all that much and don't want to turn down the hot water heater as all our other faucets work just fine. Getting ready to switch it out and if I do it won't be a Delta.

I've never considered myself a plumber, but the online video and the simple construction of the Delta made it simple. My wife and I were immediately impressed by the superior look, feel, and performance of our new faucet. The Delta is far more stylish, handles far better, and produces a better water flow that the original. Both my wife and I appreciate attention to detail. That's what we get with our Delta even to the small red and blue dots reminding us the direction of "hot" and "cold." Add to that the Delta reputation for durability and the ease of getting parts, we are very excited and pleased customers.

Love the look and the way it looks in my kitchen, HOWEVER, you have to push the on/off lever in with force to make it not drip or even turn off! Lever even feels wobbly. Saw other reviews stating the same problem. Wish I had read comments before purchase! Very unhappy!

Also, the faucet does not turn off unless you put it in one exact position and push on it with the exact right pressure on the handle. I had read about this problem in reviews before I bought the faucet. I wish I had paid attention and bought another faucet.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Broken fast I bought this faucet in the middle of last December. Liked it a lot. But now it does not have water come out of the faucet. It is terrible at this time that we need to wash our hands all the time. This faucet only worked for less than 4 months. I contacted the customer service, Candice was nice and sent me an email for how to fix the problem. But I do not have any tools to do it and are not good at this kind of house work. I am waiting for the tool and a cartridge that was ordered for me then I can call them again to get their help to fix the faucet. I had a previous Delta faucet and it was installed by the builder 14 yers ago, it had no problem until last December, it also had problem to have water come out.

We like the finish on the faucet and the new sprayer function that our older ones do not have. Two plumbers I respect have both told me that they prefer to install and work on Delta faucets.

I was at Home Depot to look at the Leland19978Z-RB-DST in Venetian Bronze but they only had a different model showing the bronze color. Does the bronze color look the same regardless of the model name or does the color vary between models?

How do you remove the handle for faucet model 19978Z-rb-dst? handle number RP 63195?  Thanks.

I found this faucet at Home Depot. #19978Z-RB-DST The color says Leland Bronze. The one shown above says Venetian Bronze. Is there a difference. Also the cost is different $221 and about $425 at a high end store. Quality difference??
