The TempSense™ LED light changes color to alert you to the water’s temperature and eliminate any possible surprises or discomfort. MagnaTite® Docking uses a powerful integrated magnet to pull your faucet spray wand precisely into place and hold it there so it stays docked when not in use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Correct Installation is important. It looks good and works well, once we got the installation tweaked. It kept stopping the first few days and the plumber had to return to adjust something under the sink.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Touch faucet can be a problem I bought this "touch" faucet, but you cannot just turn it on. You must touch it for it to come to life. So what happens when the battery for the solenoid is dead: it will not turn on, If you are using the adaptor plug and power goes out, I believe it will not turn on. That's what the people at Delta told me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delta quality Works exceptionally well but does have a learning curve to operate without soaking yourself

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The Love doesn't last We love the touch feature, we live by it, and find ourselves tapping sinks everywhere we go that is not our kitchen. But, our faucet is 4 years now, and we had to essentially argue to get a replacement solenoid by year 3, and after another year it has gone out again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What junk! The only reason this faucet got 1 star is because 0 stars wasn't available. I am so disappointed, angry, and frustrated with this faucet. I cook a lot and I was so excited to have this "touch on" feature. I have spent far more money on plumbers bills to fix this faucet (multiple times) than its purchase price. I had this installed about 5 years ago. First, about two years in, I had water leaking from the handle. To Delta's credit, they sent me a replacement part free of charge, but the bill for the plumber was on me. Shortly after that the light that senses water temperature failed. I bought a new solenoid (a nearly $200 part) and paid the plumber's bill to replace it. Unfortunately, that did not solve the light issue -- the sensing for cold water worked, but the red light never worked again. I decided to ignore the temperature sensing malfunction since the faucet worked without it. Now, another two years down the road, the solenoid has failed again -- the "touch on" feature, which was the only reason I bought this faucet, no longer works. I could've paid a whole lot less for a conventional faucet, but the "touch on" feature was important to me. Something else to note: with the touch feature not working, regular use of the handle every day, all day, loosens the screw in the handle which makes the handle loose and flop around. The handle screw needs to be tightened weekly. TLDR: Save money and aggravation and buy another faucet.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing at every turn I took comfort in the Delta name and lifetime warranty 9 years ago when I purchased my very first fancy touch faucet. About 6 months ago, while cleaning, it started its decline and ultimately became inoperable. Delta sent 2 sets of parts but the more I tinkered with the worse it got. Finally I received a new unit which was supposed to be an upgrade. Definitely not. A contractor installed last night and the touch worked perfectly. Today we’ve had to touch it up to 4 times to turn the unit on. The sprayer is weird and does not give a normal spray. Who wants 2 side sprays? The splashless option is pretty useless. The faucet doesn’t pull out smoothly like my previous unit but maybe that will wear down over time. The “upgraded” version style isn’t as modern looking with its handle as my previous version. So I am disappointed but after having no working faucet for 7 days I was grateful to be able to cook and clean the kitchen again. I’d love to share my video but only a YouTube video link is permitted.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Delta faucet At installation the Delta Faucet there was a slight drip / leak coming from the handle . The plumber who installed the faucet to check it and saw no issues. The faucet continues to leak. The plumber will return to replace the cartridge to determine if this is the problem. Disappointed for such a good brand and quality faucet

If I move the faucet handle to off-position and allow the auto-shutoff to trigger after 4 minutes, does it decrease my battery life or decrease my solenoid life? Should I try to use touch-off or faucet-off most of the time? Thanks, Pete

Asked by: Pete
Hi, Pete! Thank you for your question. We recommend turning the water off/on by touch for the Delta 9178T-SP-DST Faucet and leave the handle in the 'on' position. This will not decrease battery or solenoid life faster. Best Regards, Rosanna

third question is related to LED light. It has never changed temps. It is always red?? Thanks for your help

Asked by: Joe P
Hi, Joe P! Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your Delta faucet. We recommend to reset the LED light wire and battery pack. To do this, disconnect the LED light wire from the solenoid. Disconnect the battery pack. Wait a full minute. While you are waiting a full minute, you can check batteries and see if they are in good condition, even try new batteries. Make sure they're all in the correct direction and tightly secured in the battery pack. After a full minute, reconnect the LED light wire into the solenoid and then reconnect the battery pack. Wait another full minute. After the full minute, you can then check your faucet and see if the blue light works better. If this does not, please contact our Delta Customer Service line at (800)345-3358. We are available Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm, CST and Saturday, 8am-5pm, CST. You may also email at customerservice@deltafaucet.com. Best Regards, Rosanna

Will the faucet work if the power goes out?? Ours is hardwired and we don’t use the battery pack.

Asked by: Spud
Thank you for your question, Jill. We recommend connecting the battery pack as a backup. The faucet will not work by touch if the the power goes out and the batteries are not installed. You may use the battery box to turn the faucet on and the remove it to put it into manual mode. If you are unable to activate it by touch, you may also bypass the solenoid assembly completely by connecting the pull-out hose directly to the faucet. Best regards, Jon

What is wrong with a Delta Leland kitchen faucet with a RP50587 cartridge when you pull the handle straight down and it won't shut off? I have to push it up to the right and then pull down to cut off the water. This faucet when new has not worked right.

Asked by: Donald
Hi, Donald. Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a leak from your Delta faucet. We recommend to clean the bottom puck on the valve cartridge assembly and retighten the bonnet nut to stop the leak. To do this, turn the water off at your shut off valve. Remove the handle. Unscrew the bonnet nut. Pull the valve cartridge out and clean the bottom puck on the valve cartridge assembly. Reinstall the valve cartridge assembly and retighten the bonnet by turning clockwise, to the right. Install the handle back on and turn the water back on. Test the faucet. If the faucet still leaks, we recommend to replace the valve cartridge assembly, RP50587. Artic or Stainless

We are looking at getting the Leland Touch 20 in the Artic finish, as I like the brushed look for our new kitchen addition. Will this go with stainless sinks?
Asked by: rbrad11
Hi rbrad11, Thank you for your question. The Arctic Stainless is a brushed finish that should match most stainless appliances or sinks. Arctic Stainless is lighter than our Stainless Steel. Arctic Stainless faucet should go with most stainless sinks, but may match exactly. Thanks, Jon

We have a nickel coated sink. What color would be match?

Asked by: Steve
Hi Steve, Thank you for your question. Arctic Stainless and Stainless Steel are both brushed finishes. Over the years, the color of stainless steel used on appliances and sinks has migrated from warmer tones, with more red in the color spectrum, to lighter tones where blue is more predominant. Arctic Stainless features cooler metallic tones, following a trend seen throughout the kitchen. We recommend comparing the finishes at a store near you to determine the best match. Best regards, Jon

Can I rotate the on/off handle portion to the front to use? My backsplash is too close to rotate the hold cold lever when it's turned on.

Asked by: Nate
Hi, Nate! Thank you for your question. The minimum clearance to back splash for the Delta 9178T-RB-DST is 2 1/2" (64 mm). We recommend installing this faucet with the handle on the right. You may install it with the handle on the front, but the temperature adjustment will be opposite of the standard operation for single handle faucets. You could compensate for this by swapping the hot and cold supply lines under the sink. However, the red/blue button on the handle will no longer indicate the correct temperature. Model 9178T-DST. I do not get enough water pressure on my kitchen faucet as it was before. Is any part that I should change or has to be clean inside some where taking it apart? Hope that someone can help me with this issue.

Asked by: Rick
Hello Rick, Thank you for your question. We would recommend flushing the supply lines of your faucet. To flush out the valve body, so that these parts do last as long as possible, please first turn off the water supply to the faucet. Gather an adjustable wrench, some towels and a bucket. Disconnect the hot side Innoflex line. Move the handle to the full on position, middle temp. Point the hot side Innoflex line into a bucket. Turn on the cold supply valve full. Let a gallon or two flow into the bucket. Shut off cold supply. Check bucket for debris. If no debris, empty bucket and run one more time. Move handle to off position. Reattach hot side line. Turn on both water supply valves. Please feel free to call, email, or message us on social if there is anything else you need. What is the difference between Leland model #: 9178T-AR-DST and Model # 9178T SP-DST and the one at Lowe's Model # 9678T- DST? Also Can I order any Delta Kitchen faucet you make through Lowe's, or just select one's?

Asked by: MAUREEN
Thank you for your question, MAUREEN! 9178T-AR-DST and 9178T-SP-DST are the same faucet, but with different finishes. AR is a finish code for Arctic Stainless, and SP is the finish code for Spotshield Brushed Nickle. The 9678T-DST is the bar/prep version of the 9178T-DST. It has the same design as 9178T-DST, but has a shorter height. Certain retailers such as Lowes and Home Depot, have Delta products manufactured exclusively for those retailers.
