Hi Pete, thank you for your interest in the R4707! The R4707 valve does not have a flow restrictor, so the flow rate will depend entirely on the pressure or PSI in your home. Hi Mary, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model R4707. The included braided leader hose is not Pex. The inlet/outlet tubes are corrugated copper. The similar model R4707-MF uses PEX cold expansion type connections. R4707-PX uses PEX crimp ring type connections. Cold expansion fittings are intended to be used with Type A PEX. While the tub filling spout does not have the flow restricted, a hand shower will include a flow restrictor for proper function and will have a lower flow rate. If you add the RP24097 quarter turn stop insert on the stem unit then it will only turn 90 degrees.
