But they didn’t provide anything to close the hole, so water enters inside the handles. It would not be hygienic as dirty standing water remains inside the levers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice but petite Overall, this is a good faucet, and as pictured. One thing that was difficult to tell from the photo was the spout reach is not very impressive. This is a smaller scale faucet better suited to a smaller scale vanity with a smaller depth sink. If you're working on a more petite vanity situation, this may be a good fit. If your vanity is large, and if your client is large, look for a more substantial faucet (scale wise).

When I pull up the stopper handle, and even gently push down on the stopper itself, the sink will still slowly drain out and not hold water. Is there an adjustment I can make?

Thank you for your question, Matthew! Code permits that stoppers can leak no more than a gallon per hour with 6" of water in the bowl. The seal is provided by the weight of the water holding the rubber seal against the flange and the bowl must have at least 6" of water to provide adequate pressure. Please be sure this is not the issue occurring and if the leak persists, we would recommend checking that the required sealant was used on the flange which should be a uniform 1/4" round bead of sealant. If the lift rod pulls straight up, why does the spec sheet call for a minimum 2-1/2" clearance to backsplash?

I've seen this 2-1/2" minimum space requirement on other faucets, but that was because the lift rod on those faucets come out at an angle toward the backsplash. It looks like the lift rod on the Lahara pulls straight up (which several users have confirmed in various Q&A posts. I'd like to purchase the Lahara, but I'm not sure the maker of the cultured granite vanity top I have on order can accommodate the 2-1/2" requirement.

From experience how is the water spotting on the stainless model faucet. I wish I could find this faucet with the spot shield technology.

does the widespread Lahara come in brushed nickel?

"Metal" pop up

I just bought this faucet. My plumber told me before I bought it, "just make sure it has a metal pop-up." Well, yes, there is metal for the part one sees in the sink, but the inside is all plastic. I bought this from a very well known big box store and it came in original Delta packaging. The model numbers matched, however, the inside of the pop-up is all plastic and cheap. My plumber went ahead and installed it, however, I am disappointed in the quality of the pop-up. Please let me know if the inside of the metal pop-up is supposed to be plastic or are different items with the same model numbers being sold at plumber's supply houses, this site, and at big box stores.

Non-metallic parts are beneficial because they do not rust or corrode. Please know that all of our products are built to last and come with a Lifetime Limited Warranty. Lahara faucet 3538-MPU-DST vs 3538-LF

Can you enlist all differences between the two Lahara 8 inch widespread faucet models? How does one choose between the 2 models?

Hi JT, Thank you for your question. The model 3538-LF and the 3538-MPU-DST will look the same from above the sink. The major difference is in the valves of the faucet itself. The 3538-LF uses the stem unit assembly, seats and springs to control the water flow, while the model 3538-MPU-DST uses our Diamond Seal Technology which uses a diamond coated ceramic cartridge to control the water flow. The water supply connections from the valves to the spout and from the valves to your water stops/shutoffs are also a difference between the 2 models. Thanks, Dave
