Well Designed, but Stainless Finish shows Water Spots
We remodeled two bathrooms and installed Lahara faucets in both of them. In one bathroom, we installed the Champagne Bronze finish, which is lovely. In the other bathroom, we installed the Stainless finish. I really love the function/feel of this faucet in every other way, but was surprised that the Stainless finish shows water spots. It's not a big deal to me. It's our kids bath, and functionality/durability is more important to me in that room than a spotless appearance (it will NEVER be spotless anyway :p). All of the plumbing fixtures in that bathroom are Delta stainless finishes and they ALL show water spots badly.

Smart Design
We had the Delta Lahara single hole faucet in Champagne Bronze installed in a powder room renovation. It is a beautiful faucet with very smoothly functioning features. Maybe it sounds weird, but the handle feels really nice in my hand...smooth to the touch, well designed, smooth action. We also installed the same faucet in stainless, in another bathroom. But the stainless finish tends to show water spots.

There are better options
If you have children, I wouldn't suggest this. This faucet has the most sensitive shut off lever and is always dripping. You'll spend 5 minutes just trying to figure out the correct position for the lever so it stops dripping. Not worth it.

Good choice!!
We purchased 3 of these faucets for our new bathroom countertops. They arrived within days of placing the order and were easy to instal. We're very happy with our decision in choosing these faucets. Plus the price was a very good deal as well.

Need a new stud reinforcement kit after <5 yrs
Have this sink model that was manufactured in 2018. Need to replace the stud and reinforcing plate as it’s rusted. I only see the reinforcement kit MODEL#: RP63792 online but it looks like for a diff model sink. What do I need to buy to fix this? Disappointed this hasn’t held up for long. This is the second time trying to fix this so that it doesn’t start moving and falling over when the kids use the sink.

Disappointed!
Love the color, but only purchase if you don’t mind water spots. Installed this in my newly remolded bathroom and am beyond frustrated with cleaning it daily to look decent. We installed the Delta tetra model in the other bathrooms and they do not have this issue.

What is model # for the 6 1/2" add on?
A previous user asked if this was one piece or two and Delta answered saying one piece but that there was an additional 6 1/2" piece that could be attached to it. Is this to make the faucet a high riser for use with a vessel sink? If so, I am interested in this piece but could not find it anywhere. Can you please advise?
Hi Sstchur, Thank you for your question. The 6-1/2" add on is part of the faucet body and not available as a separate piece. The Lahara series does not offer a vessel bowl version of the model 538-SSMPU-DST.

How do I remove the water restrictor on this faucet?

Faucet handle difficult to move. How do you loosen it? New house and have seven Lahara faucets and one is difficult to turn on and off. I can easily fix it if you can tell me how. Thanks
Thank you for your question, Pat! The handle has a set screw on the front located under the hot/cold indicator button. Once this button is pried off, you will need a 1/8" allen wrench to remove the handle.

what is the height of the tip of the faucet where the water comes out from the counter top height?

Does this faucet include everything needed for installation, in addition to the required rough-in valve?
Do I need to buy any parts for installation that are not included with the faucet?
Hi Shergal, Thank you for your question. The model 538-SSMPU-DST is a complete faucet. The faucet will also come with the pop up drain assembly. You will not need to buy any additional parts for the installation.

Is there a substitution for the finial at the top of the pull up stopper?

Is this faucet body made of brass?
