Leaky faucet
We built a new home in 2021 and moved in in Februrary 2022. All of our plumbing fixtures are Delta products. In the master bath, we have two if the D 538 RBMPUDST faucets. One of these has developed a severe "drip" and if you're not careful when you turn off the water, it will run continuously. For the price we paid it should have lasted longer.

very low water flow
Installed it and immediately noticed low flow. Removed aerator and flushed it per the installation instructions without any success. Flushed water came out full flow and clean. Most likely faucet came with a bad cartridge. Working with Amazon seller to swap out faucet. Will update review once this issue is resolved, but for now I would not recommend this faucet.

Poor product
I purchased 538-SSMPU-DST single handle bathroom sink faucet from Build on 8 Nov. 2021 and had it installed by a professional plumber in April 2022. My complaint with this product is there is no side-to-side range for warm water. If the faucet is off and one pushes the lever straight up the faucet produces warm water. If one moves the lever to one side or the other even slightly, the faucet produces full hot or full cold depending on the direction the lever was moved. It's ridiculous. If I had small children at home I would have removed and returned the faucet. This is a poor design in my opinion. I also sent an email to Delta asking how to leave a review and they haven't bothered to reply. I've put Delta in my last 2 houses. This will be the last house I put Delta in. I will however buy from Build again. Their people did a wonderful job.

I chose this faucet to match the oil-rubbed bronze hinges on our bathroom doors. It's absolutley gorgeous and after dealing with a two-handle faucet in this bathroom for years, this is a welcomed relief ~ only having to push up, down and side to side is lovely!

Very Loud!!!
Put 4 of these in my house. These are VERY loud on the back side of the wall. You can't run these at night since the bedroom backs up the the bathrooms.

Delta bathroom chromed facet
The facet was easy to install. The length of the tubing to attach to the cold and hot water lines was much longer then I required (don't have to go back to store and buy extension hoses). I like the taller style facet that allows you extra room to fill a tall glass.

Finish coming off

Nice quality faucet
Love the quality of this faucet and that it sits up higher than the faucet we replaced it with so you don't have to bend over as low to get your hands under it. We purchased the venetian bronze and love the hints of gold that shine through. Very easy to turn on and off and adjust water temperature.

It works well and looks great
Really well built.
I’m using this in my bathroom and it fits under the medicine cabinet perfectly due to its height and the installation kit was perfect. It is not forgiving to shut it off must be in the exact shut off position so it won’t keep running. Highly recommend this product for several reasons, primarily its resistance to clog and ease of operation.

I like the style, but the finish is terrible, it just stays spotty all the time, never looks clean. AND the plumber had a terrible time trying to install the drain stopper!!!! Ya know the little tiny PULL. We ended up buying a pop up drain, much much easier!!!!

We have had 2 of these faucets in chrome for 5 years. Reliable and nice looking. We looked for a faucet with a stream far enough out into the sink that my husband can put his head under it to wash his hair. I wanted this distance because the water will splash all over the back of the sink if the faucet is too short. So many faucets are too short. This single- handled faucet is easy to clean. Easy to mix the temperature. Streamlined for cleaning and modern look. We are very happy with the design and reliability of these faucets. Delta 538-MPU-DST. Make installer gives you the aerator wrench so you can clean the aerator.

Nice faucet
This was a very easy installation and works as it should. It doesn’t take an expert plumber to install and I was able to put it in fairly quick. It works just fine as a bathroom faucet should. It’s easy to clean and adds some class to my bathroom vanity.

Great finish
This faucet looks great in my wife's new bathroom. The finish is perfect for the look she was going for. It was super easy to install. It came with everything needed. It looks great, works great, is easy enough for my 5 year old to use regularly and without help, and was a quick easy way to turn the guest bath into the "fancy" guest bath.

What is model # for the 6 1/2" add on?
A previous user asked if this was one piece or two and Delta answered saying one piece but that there was an additional 6 1/2" piece that could be attached to it. Is this to make the faucet a high riser for use with a vessel sink? If so, I am interested in this piece but could not find it anywhere. Can you please advise?
Hi Sstchur, Thank you for your question. The 6-1/2" add on is part of the faucet body and not available as a separate piece. The Lahara series does not offer a vessel bowl version of the model 538-SSMPU-DST.

Faucet handle difficult to move. How do you loosen it? New house and have seven Lahara faucets and one is difficult to turn on and off. I can easily fix it if you can tell me how. Thanks
Thank you for your question, Pat! The handle has a set screw on the front located under the hot/cold indicator button. Once this button is pried off, you will need a 1/8" allen wrench to remove the handle.

what is the height of the tip of the faucet where the water comes out from the counter top height?

Is this faucet body made of brass?
